OPENING HOURS
Customer service hours: Monday to Friday from 8 am to 6 pm. During the three central weeks of August, the opening hours will be from 8 am to 3 pm. During this period, please consult for bridge deliveries in zone B in the afternoons.
Maundy Thursday, Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, local holidays and significant long weekends, our opening hours will be from 8am to 3pm.
No deliveries or collections will be made on working days that coincide with local holidays.
EXCLUDED GOODS
The transport of packages and objects whose content is contrary to the law or whose transport is subject to special requirements or provisions is excluded when their content is not previously stated and compliance with these requirements must be subject to prior examination (animals, weapons, funds or effects, jewellery, furs, toxic materials, biological samples, works of art, inflammable or dangerous products, etc.), with the sender alone assuming the responsibilities that may arise. ), with the sender alone assuming the responsibilities that may arise.

VOLUMETRIC
The volumetric weight in Barcelona is 167 kg/m³.
The volumetric weight in Catalonia, Peninsula, Portugal, Canary Islands, Andorra and Balearic Islands is 250 kg/m³.
The volumetric weight in Ceuta, Melilla and Gibraltar is 333 kg/m³.
Example of 250 kg / M³: 0.30 m. length x 0.40 m. width x 0.20 m. height = 0.024 m. x 250 kg / M³. = 6 kg.
DELIVERIES
The goods will be delivered to the door of private homes. Deliveries will not be made outside urban areas with unpaved accesses. In the case of inter-day services, if a collection or delivery cannot be made within the established timetable (for justified reasons such as breakdowns, excessive loads, traffic blockages due to bad weather, strikes, timetable circumstances that cut off traffic, police checks, etc.), the collection or delivery will be moved to the next time slot. Meteor will always notify the customer of the change, and if the customer is not interested in this change, he/she may request a special direct service in which he/she will be charged 30% of the price of our tariff.
In the inter-day services, for deliveries or collections in flats without lift, a maximum weight of 20kg per package is accepted, and deliveries will not be made to flats without lift above the fifth floor.
Non-irregular services (liquids, paints, unpackaged goods, bulky goods or goods with one side longer than 120 cm) can be delivered within 48 hours.
Services exceeding 50 kg or three metres of the sum of all sides will be special services that will be charged separately.
The company’s liability for delays in the delivery of goods may not exceed, unless otherwise agreed in the contract, the price of the transport, as stipulated in the modification of 9 October of Law 16/1987 of 30 July on the organisation of land transport.
Failure to meet the deadline shall not be considered to be caused by the absence of the addressee, change of address, unknown consignee or address, non-payment of postage, supplements or refunds, closure due to holidays, late deliveries on the second delivery attempt, force majeure or fortuitous event or other causes not attributable to the Agency.
BILLING
Digitized monthly billing to subscribed clients, sent by email.
Subscribed customers will have a monthly fee of €9 on invoice.
The charges for Customs expenses and tariffs on shipments to the Canary Islands, Andorra, Melilla, Ceuta, Gibraltar and International, will be applied to the invoice, in the same month or a month after the service is performed.
Any type of tax, DUA, will be borne by the destination, unless otherwise specified.
Settlement of the invoice by direct debit receipt from the bank, maximum 30 days f.f.
Non-subscribing clients will have a 30% surcharge on the total service, and at the insurance level they will be covered by the LOTT.
The amounts indicated do not include VAT, IGIC, APIC, as well as any other tax, fee, tariff or expense caused by carried items, the above will be reflected on the invoice.
According to the regulations of Royal Decree 293/2018, when the client asks us to have this material, we are obliged to charge for the plastic bags at the price that the market demands at all times.
INSURANCE
According to current legislation, the provisions of L.O.TT 29/2003 of October 9 and Regulations will be applied to the contracted transport service, which establishes the responsibility of the carrier (in cases of loss or damage) in what indicate the law, at most.
Meteor Transport Urgent, S.L. as a complement to what is established by the L.O.T.T. corresponding to the obligatory merchandise insurance, a 6% will be applied on the freight price of bridge services, thus covering up to €1,200 per shipment with a maximum of €12,000 per groupage, in cases of loss or damage suffered by those. If the risk of a shipment that causes an accident exceeds, the insurance will only cover the proportional part of the total value of the same, applied to the maximum of €1,200. Non-subscriber customers will have L.O.T.T. insurance.
Merchandise excluded by insurance: TV, monitors, flat glass, miscellaneous furniture, credit cards, lottery, art objects and all merchandise that goes in a glass container without any type of adequate protection
The client can request Meteor Transport Urgent, S.L. the contracting of a supplementary insurance that covers, with a declaration of the real value, up to €24,000, the damages that the goods may suffer up to their declared value. The price of this insurance will be 2% of the declared value.
In accordance with the provisions of articles 366 and 952 of the Commercial Code, within twenty-four hours following receipt of the goods, a claim may be made against the Transport Agency for damage or damage to them, unless the damage was evident at the time of receipt, in which case the claim will only be accepted upon receipt. Once the expressed terms have elapsed or the postage has been paid, no claim will be accepted against the Agency regarding the state in which the goods delivered were delivered.
Non-subscribing customers will have the LOTT insurance. Direct motorbike and van services will have a maximum insurance of 120 €.
In the event of an accident, the maximum period for submitting the necessary documentation to process the insurance is 20 days, after which the claim will be considered closed.
FUEL
Meteor will apply a variable fuel supplement, depending on the variation in diesel prices published monthly by the Ministry for the Ecological Transition.

RATES
The tariff prices will be regulated successively every January of each year.
