Hi there! Recently, I asked for my friends list to suggest new LJ friends for me to add. If you're reading this and you weren't before (well, reading my journal before, not reading this post), then someone likes you :) I miss having lots of interesting people to read on LJ (so many have left for Facebook or just plain left), so I asked for suggestions of people who still use LJ. :)
I don't post a huge amount (aside from the frequent birthday wishes, which didn't use to seem so frequent back when I posted more), but I do always read and comment.
If anyone's curious, I've put up a few pics from my Disneyworld trip of last weekend with my (non lj) friends Frank and Chris. You can find them here . I didn't end up taking a lot of pics, but I wanted to make sure to get some of my friends and myself.
Also snagged a new icon out of it, plus one from a pic that Dave took of me last week.
Wow, Elliot Yamin looks awful. Dude, go back to nearly shaving your head. You remind me a bit of Screech from Saved by the Bell now. Though good for you on getting apparently extensive dental work. Those teeth used to scare me.
Apparently next season, there's going to be a "Heroes: Origins" series that will keep us from having a hiatus like this season did. It'll intro a new character each epsiode and viewers will choose which one comes back next season.
Full article here (most of which doesn't have much to do with Heroes)
Welcome back to another sporadic, though short, edition of "Bad thing / Good thing". (Yeah, I've done it only a few times before, but I've written plenty of them that came off sounding really lame and so they never got posted. Like this is about to not be. Maybe).
Bad thing: I think my monitor's dying. The colors are seriously fading, no matter what settings I change. Even worse, text keeps going very blurry, then back to normal when I'm not looking. And no, it's not my vision, cause everything else is fine. :P It's a nice quality Sony monitor, though I've had it for several years now.
Good thing: This monitor is freaking huge and I was sorta considering replacing it with a flat panel anyway. So maybe now I have the positive motivation of getting something less space consuming without the guilt of replacing a piece of hardware that's working fine.
Okay, I decided not to delete it. Whatever. Don't judge me.
