I thought and thought about what to make you, finally I figured Id whip up some Farscape comic Icons for you. Enjoy hun- glad to hear your birthday was enjoyable!

Kat is in the hospital again..
this time for chest pain. the nurse called from school, and told me, so I went up there to see her. she was pale, and in a lot of pain. when I asked on the 1-10 scale what it was, she said an 8. we left from there to the ER.
tests were run at the ER, and due to that hospital having no pediatric staff, she was transported to the children's hospital. once there, the docs looked over the numerous catscans and Xrays and now suspect the pain is being caused by her severe chest deformity. which is now crushing her already screwy heart up against her left shoulder. She also appears to have an infection in the lining of her chest wall, which apparently is common with how deformed her ribs/back is, the rib puncture the lining causing a line for infection.

what they would like to do is calles a Nuss Surgery http://www.chkd.org/Services/NussProcedure/Overview.aspx to repair it, and will also attempt to realign/remove/move some of her ribs which have become somewhat deformed from the pressure from her back.But first they want to run a couple more tests (echocardiogram being one of them since they can not find her previously scarybig aortic anurysm which could be caused by how compressed her heart is in her chest now) Strangely this heart compression is new. It was not doing this 6 months ago when we had out last check up, so its problematic. she is not really a good canidate for surgery but she really isnt a canidate for sitting around and waiting for her heart to be crushed.

for now she is resting comfortably in a very nice childrens hospital which, so far, does not have the laxed lets wait and see what goes wrong we are afraid of malpractice that florida had when dealing with Kat. I had to come back home to deal with the youngins, and once I get them off to school in the AM, I will head back up to the hospital.

For those of you who pray, say a little pray for Kat.
