• There was a time in my life when things could have gone very differently.

I went through a couple of car accidents. Moments where, honestly, things could have ended much worse than they did. Looking back, I know it wasn’t luck. It was God’s hand covering me, protecting me even when I didn’t fully recognize it at the time.

In those moments, I wasn’t thinking about purpose. I wasn’t thinking about the future. But God already was.

Because today, I’m standing here with a wife, with children, with a life that I know I didn’t build on my own. God carried me through what should have broken me, and brought me into something I could have never planned for myself.

Psalm 46:1 says, “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”

And I’ve lived that. He was there in the accidents. He was there in the recovery. And He’s here now in the blessing.

My family isn’t just something I have. It’s something God gave me. It’s proof that He saves, restores, and gives purpose.

If you’re going through something right now, I want you to know this: God is not absent in your pain. He’s working, even when you don’t see it yet.

Ecclesiastes 3:11 says, “He has made everything beautiful in its time.”

And I’m standing here today as proof of that.

God is always good and God is good always

  • Daily Bread Fellowship — Friday Encouragement

    Scripture
“Let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” — Galatians 6:9

    Encouragement
You have made it to Friday. The week may have stretched you, tested you, and required more from you than you expected. Yet here you are—still standing, still moving forward, still being sustained by the grace of God.

This is not the moment to slow your faith or lose your focus. This is the moment to finish strong. Faithfulness at the end of the week matters just as much as faithfulness at the beginning. Every act of obedience, every decision to trust God, and every step taken in faith is seen and valued by Him.

Do not grow weary. Even when results are not immediate, God is working. Seeds planted in faith will produce a harvest in His perfect timing. Continue with courage. Continue with trust. Continue with perseverance.

Finish this day with strength, knowing that the Lord who carried you through this week will continue to sustain you.

    Prayer
Father, thank You for bringing me through this week. Give me strength to finish well. Guard my heart from weariness and fill me with perseverance and faith. Help me to trust that You are working in every moment, even when I cannot see it. Amen.

  • “He Still Calls Your Name”
    Scripture Focus:
    • Mark 16:7 — “But go your way, tell his disciples and Peter that he goeth before you into Galilee: there shall ye see him…”
    • John 21:15–18 — Jesus restores Peter and calls him to “Feed my sheep.”

    Thought of the Day...
God doesn’t cancel you because you failed—He calls you by name and restores you with purpose.
In Mark 16:7, the angel gives a powerful instruction after the resurrection:
    “Tell His disciples… and Peter.”
Peter. The one who denied Jesus three times. The one who swore he didn’t even know Him. Yet in this moment, heaven makes sure Peter is not left out. Why? Because failure does not erase calling.
Jesus could have simply said “tell the disciples.” But He singled out Peter to send a clear message:
“You may have denied Me, but I have not denied you.”
Now fast forward to John 21:15–18. Jesus meets Peter again—not with condemnation, but with restoration. Three times Jesus asks, “Do you love Me?”—mirroring Peter’s three denials. But instead of shame, Jesus gives Peter an assignment:
    • “Feed My lambs.”
    • “Feed My sheep.”
    • “Follow Me.”
Jesus wasn’t just forgiving Peter—He was reinstating him.
Peter’s story teaches us something powerful:
God doesn’t just forgive your past—He redeems it and reassigns your future.
Where you failed is often where God will use you most.

    What This Reveals
    1. God is Personal
He didn’t say “tell them”—He said, “tell Peter.” God sees you individually, not just as part of a crowd.
    2. Failure is Not Final
Peter denied Jesus publicly, yet he was restored publicly. Your worst moment does not define your destiny.
    3. Love is Proven Through Obedience
Jesus didn’t ask Peter about his skill, education, or past—He asked about his love. Then He gave him purpose.
    4. Calling Still Stands
Even after failure, Peter was still called to lead, serve, and shepherd others.

    Prayer...
    Father God,
Thank You that You are the God who still calls our name—even after we fall. Thank You that our failures do not cancel Your purpose for our lives. Just like Peter, we have made mistakes, we have denied You in our actions, our words, and sometimes even in our silence.
But today, we hear Your voice calling us again.
Restore us, Lord. Heal every place of guilt, shame, and regret. Replace our failure with Your grace and our weakness with Your strength. Teach us to love You deeply—not just with words, but with our obedience and our lives.
Give us the courage to step back into our calling. Help us to feed, serve, and love others the way You have commanded. Let our lives be living testimonies of Your mercy and restoration.
We declare that we are not disqualified—we are redeemed, restored, and reassigned for Your glory.
    In Jesus’ name,
    Amen.

    Declaration...
I am not defined by my failure—I am defined by God’s grace.
    Jesus still calls my name.
I am forgiven, restored, and given purpose.
I will follow Him and walk boldly in my calling.

  • *🕊 DOMINION DAILY DEVOTION ~ DAY 107*
    *DATE: 17TH APRIL 2026*
*TOPIC: STRENTHENED BY THE WORD AND PRAYER*
    *ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:— PSALM 19:7 (ERV)*
*“The teachings of the LORD are perfect; they give strength to his people.”*
    *Devotional Message:*
Yesterday, we saw that the Lord is our strength in times of trouble. Today, we understand how that strength is supplied—through His Word and through prayer.

Just as the physical body requires nourishment to remain strong, the soul and spirit of a man require spiritual nourishment. The Word of God is that nourishment. It restores, renews, and strengthens the inner man.

The psalmist declares that the Lord’s teachings are perfect and that they give strength. This strength is accessed when we take time to study and meditate on His Word. The prophet testified that when he received the Word, it became the joy of his heart. This joy is not temporary—it is a source of strength, for the joy of the Lord is our strength.

However, spiritual strength requires balance. Just as physical health depends on a balanced diet, the believer must combine the Word with prayer.

Prayer deepens the work of the Word in our lives. It strengthens the spirit man, builds endurance, and keeps us connected to God. When we pray—especially in the Spirit—we are edified and empowered to stand firm in every season.

Beloved, when you feel weary or weak, do not withdraw from God. Instead, draw closer to Him through His Word and through prayer. In doing so, you receive the strength needed to continue your journey.

    *Prayer:*

Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your Word which strengthens my soul and for the privilege of prayer. Help me to remain consistent in studying and meditating on Your Word. Teach me to depend on You through prayer and to draw strength from You daily. Strengthen my spirit, soul, and body, and help me to stand firm in every season. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

  • Good evening, brethren.

    1. Evening devotion for today.

    i. *DAILY WALK WITH CHRIST*
    (COCIN DEVOTIONAL)

    *DATE:*
    THURSDAY 16TH APRIL, 2026

    *SUB-THEME:*
    THE CROSS: CULMINATION OF GRACE.

    *TOPIC:*
    REQUIRES TOTAL ALLEGIANCE

    *TEXT:*
    ACTS 4:16-20
    16. “What are we going to do with these men?” they asked. “Everyone living in Jerusalem knows they have performed a notable sign, and we cannot deny it.
    17. But to stop this thing from spreading any further among the people, we must warn them to speak no longer to anyone in this name.”
    18. Then they called them in again and commanded them not to speak or teach at all in the name of Jesus.
    19. But Peter and John replied, “Which is right in God’s eyes: to listen to you, or to Him? You be the judges!
    20. As for us, we cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard.”

    *TOPIC:*
    REQUIRES TOTAL ALLEGIANCE

    *THE MESSAGE:*
Jesus had assured the disciples of the presence of the Holy Spirit whenever they faced opposition from the authorities (Mt. 12:11-12). The priests, temple guard, and the Sadducees brought Peter and John to the Jewish council after healing a lame man. Though unable to deny the miracle, the leaders attempted to silence them to prevent the spread of the Gospel of Christ. However, Peter and John responded, "We cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard" (v. 20). Following Christ demands total allegiance to God above all earthly authorities. Today, Christians are facing similar threats from ungodly authorities and hostile communities. Our obedience to God must supercede human opposition. God called believers to prioritise His command over fear, pressure, or persecution and declare God's truth regardless of the cost.

    *REFLECTION:*
    Do not submit to threats.

    *PRAYER:*
Lord Jesus, help me to stand my ground without fear. Amen.

    *MEMORY VERSE FOR THE MONTH:*
    COLOSSIANS 2:15.
"And having disarmed the powers and authorities, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross."

    *TODAY'S BIBLE READING PLAN:*
    1 CHRONICLES 6-10.

    2. Evening Prayer for today.

    i. Evening Prayer

A Song of degrees for Solomon. Except the LORD build the house, they labor in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh [but] in vain. ⏤ Psalm 127:1

As is the business of tailors to make clothes and of cobblers to mend shoes, so it is the business of Christians to pray. ⏤ Martin Luther

Our Father, before we lay down to sleep, we thank You for protecting and providing for us, and for all the blessings of this day. We committed ourselves to Your care this morning, and You haven’t forgotten us for even a moment. We thank You for the happiness we’ve shared at home today. Father, bless our family life and make it more tender and supportive. May our home become a holier place to live and grow. May all its influences be pure, uplifting, and enriching. Fill it with Your Holy Spirit, and then it will be like Heaven.

O Son of God, who lived in an earthly home in Nazareth for many years and often visited the home in Bethany, come and dwell in our home, and bless it with Your tender grace. May we sit at Your feet like Mary did, listening to Your word and learning from You. Then, in times of sorrow, You will come to comfort us. We also want to pour out our love to You like the woman who anointed Your feet with perfume. Come, dear Master, and be our constant guest. Stay with us all the time. Help us to make our home a place where You’ll want to dwell—a home of truth, pure feelings, gentle words, and thoughtful affection.

Now, as this day ends and we prepare for rest, we entrust our whole home to Your care. Forgive us all our sins. Accept the work we bring to You—only small pieces of what we intended to do, and stained by sin. Take it as it is and let Your blessing rest on it. Keep us through the night, and prepare us for tomorrow, whether we spend it on earth or in Heaven. We ask all this in Your name, O Lamb of God. Amen.

Amen. https://www.youdevotion.com/daily-prayer/miller/11/evening #taptapstudio #youdevotion.

  • Good morning, brethren.

    1. Morning devotion for today.

    i. MORNING TEA
THE WORD FOR TODAY. FRIDAY APRIL 17, 2026.
    "INSTRUMENT RATED (9)"

‘…Bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.’  Ephesians 6:4 NIV

INSTRUMENT RATED for parenthood. Parents today face unique problems that no other generation has. But God’s Word is timeless, so: 1) Enforce discipline. ‘Whom the Lord loves He corrects…’ (Proverbs 3:12 NKJV). A famous evangelist says when he was growing up his mother had a belt that hung on the wall of their home with a text written above it: ‘I need thee every hour’. Teach your child that every decision has consequences. And don’t rescue them from their consequences, for life won’t let them off the hook when they do wrong. 2) Teach them God’s ways. ‘Train up a child in the way that he should go: and…he will not depart from it’ (Proverbs 22:6 NKJV). Give your child a taste of the things of God when they are young, and when they’re older the world won’t be able to satisfy their taste. 3) Commit them to the Lord. This isn’t easy; it’s like allowing them to take the family car out for the first time. But there comes a point where God, not you, must speak to them and guide them. They’ll either learn the easy way or the hard way. And even if they do go astray, God promises that they’ll come back again (Jeremiah 31:16-17). So pray, ‘Lord, they’re Yours now. I’ve taught them and set an example, now I give them to You. Deal with them according to Your perfect will’. Does that mean everything will be okay from that point on? Maybe, and maybe not. But like a pilot who flies according to his instruments, you must stand on the Word of God for your children.

ii. FREE ACCESS TO GOD'S THRONE

"In Him and through faith in Him we may approach God with freedom and confidence." - Ephesians 3:12

One of the greatest privileges a Christian has, is free access to God the Father. This means that we, who have a relationship with God through Jesus, have access to God 24 hours a day, yes, every minute.

Lucifer tried to overthrow God to get the throne himself, but the Almighty God has defeated Lucifer. Hebrews 10:12 says that Jesus Christ sits at the right hand of God the Father. Through Jesus we have access to God's mercy seat.

A gap between God and man

Previously, in the Old Testament, there were only a few people who had limited access to God. Abraham was such a man and was called God's friend. Moses was a man who was in contact with God. God has always wanted to live among people, but this was impossible because of sin. Sin separates man from God. There came a gap between God and man since Adam and Eve, who first lived in perfect harmony with God, became disobedient.

    Free access for everyone

Since God wanted to be among His people, Moses was instructed to build a tabernacle (tent). God would then reside in the Holy of Holies. There was only one person who could enter the Holy of Holies once a year. There was an important condition attached to this. He had to take blood (from an animal) with him when he entered. Entering without that blood would mean immediate death for the high priest.

When Jesus' blood flowed on the cross, the curtain, which was blocking the access to the Holy of Holies, tore open. Access became free for everyone to approach God each second of the day.

Paul says in Romans 5:1-2: 'Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand.'

    2. Morning Prayer for today.

    i. Morning Prayer

Rejoice in the Lord always: [and] again I say, Rejoice. ⏤ Philippians 4:4

We must begin to believe that God, in the mystery of prayer, has entrusted us with a force that can move the Heavenly world, and bring its power down to earth. ⏤ Andrew Murray

O God, our Father, we thank You for this bright morning. We want to share in the joy that’s all around us. All of Your creation praises You, and we want to join in that praise—not just with our lips, but with our hearts and lives. We want our lives to be like songs that bring joy to those around us. Help us live victoriously today, not letting our cares and trials get the best of us, but keeping Your praise in our hearts even in the darkest times and toughest challenges. Breathe Your Spirit into our souls this morning so that we can go out and live with cheerfulness all day. Don’t let the hard things discourage us or take the joy out of our hearts and the brightness out of our faces.

We thank You that You’ve promised to give us what we need. We know that while You are always with us, You come even closer to us when we’re in trouble; that while You always give us strength, You give us even more when we’re feeling weak. Come to us today in exactly the way we need.

Sometimes we get discouraged and frustrated. Keep us today from falling into these negative moods. Help us live among our neighbors in such a way that they see that we have God helping us. Keep us from worry and anxiety. Teach us to cast all our cares on Jesus, who cares for us. May we trust You so completely that no matter what happens, we can be happy and strong in You.

We pray for everyone in our home. Prepare us for all the duties, tasks, and responsibilities of the day. Keep us safe from accidents and bring us back together again in the evening. We ask all these things, along with the forgiveness of our sins, in the Savior’s precious name. Amen.

    Good evening, brethren.

• 1 Peter 5:9 NIV Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings.

Good morning and praise God. I hope you're having a great day. Have you ever rushed to hospital thinking you were very sick only to get there and find seriously sick and you almost turned back home? It happens that all of us are in battle field. Some of us are on the Frontline while others are somewhere at the hiding place. When we meet and share testimonies as believers, we get to realize that none of us is sailing this life quietly as it seems from outlook. Today's verse is a call to resist him who lead us into temptations. The Devil. The Bible records that he roams around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. He is the father of lies who is telling you to keep complaining to God about your life just because you're undergoing some kind of sufferings. The secret out of that is to stand firm in the faith. Your faith in Jesus Christ your LORD and Savior remembering that you're not alone, God is with you and also knowing in heart that your fellow believers are facing similar sufferings. Some way bigger than yours and others small than yours. Resist that lie of the enemy, he will flee from you and you will experience peace that surpasses all human understanding. The peace of God that can strengthen you amidst worst challenge and make you worship like Paul and Silas in jail. God loves you, have a blessed day. Shalom. Shalom.

  • Zechariah 10:

"1 Ask ye of the LORD rain in the time of the latter rain; so the LORD shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the field.
2 For the idols have spoken vanity, and the diviners have seen a lie, and have told false dreams; they comfort in vain: therefore they went their way as a flock, they were troubled, because there was no shepherd.
3 Mine anger was kindled against the shepherds, and I punished the goats: for the LORD of hosts hath visited his flock the house of Judah, and hath made them as his goodly horse in the battle.
4 Out of him came forth the corner, out of him the nail, out of him the battle bow, out of him every oppressor together.
5 And they shall be as mighty men, which tread down their enemies in the mire of the streets in the battle: and they shall fight, because the LORD is with them, and the riders on horses shall be confounded.
6 And I will strengthen the house of Judah, and I will save the house of Joseph, and I will bring them again to place them; for I have mercy upon them: and they shall be as though I had not cast them off: for I am the LORD their God, and will hear them.
7 And they of Ephraim shall be like a mighty man, and their heart shall rejoice as through wine: yea, their children shall see it, and be glad; their heart shall rejoice in the LORD.
8 I will hiss for them, and gather them; for I have redeemed them: and they shall increase as they have increased.
9 And I will sow them among the people: and they shall remember me in far countries; and they shall live with their children, and turn again.
10 I will bring them again also out of the land of Egypt, and gather them out of Assyria; and I will bring them into the land of Gilead and Lebanon; and place shall not be found for them.
11 And he shall pass through the sea with affliction, and shall smite the waves in the sea, and all the deeps of the river shall dry up: and the pride of Assyria shall be brought down, and the sceptre of Egypt shall depart away.
12 And I will strengthen them in the LORD; and they shall walk up and down in his name, saith the LORD."

We all know what it feels like to be strong on the outside but collapsing on the inside. We keep smiling, keep serving, keep showing up—yet something within feels thin, stretched, and fragile. Whether we are overwhelmed or quietly breaking, the question is not whether we look strong, but whether we are strengthened in the inner man.

🕮 𝐄𝐩𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝟑:𝟏𝟔 declares, “𝘛𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man.” Paul prayed this for believers under pressure. He did not ask God to change their circumstances, but to strengthen their souls. “𝘚𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘥 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘮𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵” is divine power—strength beyond human ability.

Like a building with a hidden foundation, what cannot be seen determines what cannot be shaken. When the structure beneath is weak, pressure exposes it. But when God strengthens within, trials do not break us—they reveal His power. The strength we need is not around us, but within us.

Scripture confirms this inward strengthening. “𝘉𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘓𝘰𝘳𝘥, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘳 𝘰𝘧 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘮𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵” (𝐄𝐩𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝟔:𝟏𝟎). “𝘔𝘺 𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘴𝘶𝘧𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘦: 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘮𝘺 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘵𝘩 𝘪𝘴 𝘮𝘢𝘥𝘦 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘦𝘤𝘵 𝘪𝘯 𝘸𝘦𝘢𝘬𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴” (𝟐 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝟏𝟐:𝟗). “𝘐 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘥𝘰 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘊𝘩𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘵 𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘩 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘵𝘩 𝘮𝘦” (𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝟒:𝟏𝟑). God’s strength is not merely added—it works through us.

Just as a lamp does not generate its own light, we do not sustain ourselves—we are sustained by Him. “𝘊𝘩𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘵 𝘪𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘶, 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘩𝘰𝘱𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘨𝘭𝘰𝘳𝘺” (𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝟏:𝟐𝟕). “𝘎𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘪𝘴 𝘩𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘶, 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯 𝘩𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘭𝘥” (𝟏 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝟒:𝟒). The strength within is the presence of Christ Himself.

Christ secured this strength through His finished work. “𝘍𝘰𝘳 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘩𝘦 𝘩𝘪𝘮𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧 𝘩𝘢𝘵𝘩 𝘴𝘶𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘣𝘦𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘦𝘮𝘱𝘵𝘦𝘥, 𝘩𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘶𝘤𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘦𝘮𝘱𝘵𝘦𝘥” (𝐇𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐰𝐬 𝟐:𝟏𝟖). Because He overcame, we are not left powerless. Through Him, we are strengthened from the inside out.

What sustains you when pressure rises—your strength or His? You may hold things together outwardly yet be weakening within. You don’t need Christ just to help you survive—you need Him to strengthen your inner man. Come to Him, and let His power work where it matters most.

𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫: Heavenly Father, strengthen us with might by Your Spirit in the inner man. Fill our weakness with Your power, our fear with Your courage, and our weariness with Your strength. Make us strong where no one sees but You. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Remember, a dose of God’s Word a day will keep you going all day!
