DAY 4 – LOVE AND NEARNESS Close to Jesus, far from empty religion

    #WorshipAndTheWord – Loving Jesus and Walking Close #MyJesusILoveThee #MiscPraiseSongs #JustACloserWalkWithThee #MiscPraiseSongs

Christian life is not cold duty; it is living fellowship with the Lord Jesus Christ.

Jesus did not save His people merely to improve behaviour but to bring them into communion with Himself. Through His death and resurrection, the barrier of sin has been removed, and the believer now has true access to God. Love for Jesus is not an optional extra in discipleship; it is the very pulse of real faith.

To walk closely with Christ is to live in daily surrender, trust, obedience, and affection toward Him. Nearness to Jesus guards the heart from mere formality. It keeps devotion alive, convicts sin quickly, and teaches the soul to value His presence above the noise of the world.

    Abide in His Love
This scripture reveals the call to remain in Christ’s love through obedience.
    John 15:10 — NIV
"If you obey my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have obeyed my Father's commands and remain in his love."
A close walk with Jesus is marked by loving obedience.

    Draw Near to God
This scripture reveals God’s response to those who come near.
    James 4:8 — NIV
"Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded."
Nearness to God begins with a humble, sincere turning of the heart.

    The Lord Is Near
This scripture reveals God’s closeness to those who seek Him sincerely.
    Psalm 145:18 — NIV
“The LORD is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.”
God draws near to those who call on Him with genuine and truthful hearts.

Seek Him While He Is Near
This scripture reveals the urgency and invitation to pursue God.
    Isaiah 55:6 — NIV
“Seek the LORD while he may be found; call on him while he is near.”
There is a present invitation to seek God wholeheartedly while He is near.

    Approach the Throne with Confidence
This scripture reveals the access we have through God’s grace.
    Hebrews 4:16 — NIV
“Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.”
Through Christ, we can boldly come to God and receive mercy and help.

Draw Near with a Sincere Heart
This scripture reveals the posture required to truly approach God.
    Hebrews 10:22 — NIV
“Let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water.”
Nearness to God comes through sincere faith and a heart made clean before Him.

Beloved: Do not settle for Christian language without Christian nearness. Do not be content with outward rhythm while your heart drifts inwardly. Jesus Christ is worthy of your love, not just your vocabulary. Come near again. Return wholeheartedly. Reject distraction, lukewarmness, and familiarity without intimacy. Today, choose the better portion—walk closely with Jesus and let your love be renewed in His presence.

Prayer: Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank You that through Christ I have access to You and am called into real fellowship with the Lord. Thank You for loving me first and drawing me near by grace.
I reject spiritual dryness, distraction, and empty routine. I receive renewed love for Jesus, fresh hunger for His presence, and a willing heart to obey.
Holy Spirit, teach me to walk closely with Christ today—to love what He loves, hate what He hates, and remain near in humility and truth.
I declare that Jesus is not distant from me, and I will walk with Him in love, obedience, and devotion.
    In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

  • Good morning, brethren.

    1. Morning devotion for today.

    i. MORNING TEA
THE WORD FOR TODAY. FRIDAY APRIL 17, 2026.
    "INSTRUMENT RATED (9)"

‘…Bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.’  Ephesians 6:4 NIV

INSTRUMENT RATED for parenthood. Parents today face unique problems that no other generation has. But God’s Word is timeless, so: 1) Enforce discipline. ‘Whom the Lord loves He corrects…’ (Proverbs 3:12 NKJV). A famous evangelist says when he was growing up his mother had a belt that hung on the wall of their home with a text written above it: ‘I need thee every hour’. Teach your child that every decision has consequences. And don’t rescue them from their consequences, for life won’t let them off the hook when they do wrong. 2) Teach them God’s ways. ‘Train up a child in the way that he should go: and…he will not depart from it’ (Proverbs 22:6 NKJV). Give your child a taste of the things of God when they are young, and when they’re older the world won’t be able to satisfy their taste. 3) Commit them to the Lord. This isn’t easy; it’s like allowing them to take the family car out for the first time. But there comes a point where God, not you, must speak to them and guide them. They’ll either learn the easy way or the hard way. And even if they do go astray, God promises that they’ll come back again (Jeremiah 31:16-17). So pray, ‘Lord, they’re Yours now. I’ve taught them and set an example, now I give them to You. Deal with them according to Your perfect will’. Does that mean everything will be okay from that point on? Maybe, and maybe not. But like a pilot who flies according to his instruments, you must stand on the Word of God for your children.

ii. FREE ACCESS TO GOD'S THRONE

"In Him and through faith in Him we may approach God with freedom and confidence." - Ephesians 3:12

One of the greatest privileges a Christian has, is free access to God the Father. This means that we, who have a relationship with God through Jesus, have access to God 24 hours a day, yes, every minute.

Lucifer tried to overthrow God to get the throne himself, but the Almighty God has defeated Lucifer. Hebrews 10:12 says that Jesus Christ sits at the right hand of God the Father. Through Jesus we have access to God's mercy seat.

A gap between God and man

Previously, in the Old Testament, there were only a few people who had limited access to God. Abraham was such a man and was called God's friend. Moses was a man who was in contact with God. God has always wanted to live among people, but this was impossible because of sin. Sin separates man from God. There came a gap between God and man since Adam and Eve, who first lived in perfect harmony with God, became disobedient.

    Free access for everyone

Since God wanted to be among His people, Moses was instructed to build a tabernacle (tent). God would then reside in the Holy of Holies. There was only one person who could enter the Holy of Holies once a year. There was an important condition attached to this. He had to take blood (from an animal) with him when he entered. Entering without that blood would mean immediate death for the high priest.

When Jesus' blood flowed on the cross, the curtain, which was blocking the access to the Holy of Holies, tore open. Access became free for everyone to approach God each second of the day.

Paul says in Romans 5:1-2: 'Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand.'

    2. Morning Prayer for today.

    i. Morning Prayer

Rejoice in the Lord always: [and] again I say, Rejoice. ⏤ Philippians 4:4

We must begin to believe that God, in the mystery of prayer, has entrusted us with a force that can move the Heavenly world, and bring its power down to earth. ⏤ Andrew Murray

O God, our Father, we thank You for this bright morning. We want to share in the joy that’s all around us. All of Your creation praises You, and we want to join in that praise—not just with our lips, but with our hearts and lives. We want our lives to be like songs that bring joy to those around us. Help us live victoriously today, not letting our cares and trials get the best of us, but keeping Your praise in our hearts even in the darkest times and toughest challenges. Breathe Your Spirit into our souls this morning so that we can go out and live with cheerfulness all day. Don’t let the hard things discourage us or take the joy out of our hearts and the brightness out of our faces.

We thank You that You’ve promised to give us what we need. We know that while You are always with us, You come even closer to us when we’re in trouble; that while You always give us strength, You give us even more when we’re feeling weak. Come to us today in exactly the way we need.

Sometimes we get discouraged and frustrated. Keep us today from falling into these negative moods. Help us live among our neighbors in such a way that they see that we have God helping us. Keep us from worry and anxiety. Teach us to cast all our cares on Jesus, who cares for us. May we trust You so completely that no matter what happens, we can be happy and strong in You.

We pray for everyone in our home. Prepare us for all the duties, tasks, and responsibilities of the day. Keep us safe from accidents and bring us back together again in the evening. We ask all these things, along with the forgiveness of our sins, in the Savior’s precious name. Amen.

    Good evening, brethren.

    1. Evening devotion for today.

    i. *DAILY WALK WITH CHRIST*
    (COCIN DEVOTIONAL)

    *DATE:*
    THURSDAY 16TH APRIL, 2026

    *SUB-THEME:*
    THE CROSS: CULMINATION OF GRACE.

    *TOPIC:*
    REQUIRES TOTAL ALLEGIANCE

    *TEXT:*
    ACTS 4:16-20
    16. “What are we going to do with these men?” they asked. “Everyone living in Jerusalem knows they have performed a notable sign, and we cannot deny it.
    17. But to stop this thing from spreading any further among the people, we must warn them to speak no longer to anyone in this name.”
    18. Then they called them in again and commanded them not to speak or teach at all in the name of Jesus.
    19. But Peter and John replied, “Which is right in God’s eyes: to listen to you, or to Him? You be the judges!
    20. As for us, we cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard.”

    *TOPIC:*
    REQUIRES TOTAL ALLEGIANCE

    *THE MESSAGE:*
Jesus had assured the disciples of the presence of the Holy Spirit whenever they faced opposition from the authorities (Mt. 12:11-12). The priests, temple guard, and the Sadducees brought Peter and John to the Jewish council after healing a lame man. Though unable to deny the miracle, the leaders attempted to silence them to prevent the spread of the Gospel of Christ. However, Peter and John responded, "We cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard" (v. 20). Following Christ demands total allegiance to God above all earthly authorities. Today, Christians are facing similar threats from ungodly authorities and hostile communities. Our obedience to God must supercede human opposition. God called believers to prioritise His command over fear, pressure, or persecution and declare God's truth regardless of the cost.

    *REFLECTION:*
    Do not submit to threats.

    *PRAYER:*
Lord Jesus, help me to stand my ground without fear. Amen.

    *MEMORY VERSE FOR THE MONTH:*
    COLOSSIANS 2:15.
"And having disarmed the powers and authorities, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross."

    *TODAY'S BIBLE READING PLAN:*

    2. Evening Prayer for today.

    i. Evening Prayer

A Song of degrees for Solomon. Except the LORD build the house, they labor in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh [but] in vain. ⏤ Psalm 127:1

As is the business of tailors to make clothes and of cobblers to mend shoes, so it is the business of Christians to pray. ⏤ Martin Luther

Our Father, before we lay down to sleep, we thank You for protecting and providing for us, and for all the blessings of this day. We committed ourselves to Your care this morning, and You haven’t forgotten us for even a moment. We thank You for the happiness we’ve shared at home today. Father, bless our family life and make it more tender and supportive. May our home become a holier place to live and grow. May all its influences be pure, uplifting, and enriching. Fill it with Your Holy Spirit, and then it will be like Heaven.

O Son of God, who lived in an earthly home in Nazareth for many years and often visited the home in Bethany, come and dwell in our home, and bless it with Your tender grace. May we sit at Your feet like Mary did, listening to Your word and learning from You. Then, in times of sorrow, You will come to comfort us. We also want to pour out our love to You like the woman who anointed Your feet with perfume. Come, dear Master, and be our constant guest. Stay with us all the time. Help us to make our home a place where You’ll want to dwell—a home of truth, pure feelings, gentle words, and thoughtful affection.

Now, as this day ends and we prepare for rest, we entrust our whole home to Your care. Forgive us all our sins. Accept the work we bring to You—only small pieces of what we intended to do, and stained by sin. Take it as it is and let Your blessing rest on it. Keep us through the night, and prepare us for tomorrow, whether we spend it on earth or in Heaven. We ask all this in Your name, O Lamb of God. Amen.

Except the LORD build the house, they labor in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh [but] in vain. ⏤ Psalm 127:1 As is the business of tailors to make clothes and of cobblers to mend shoes, so it is the business of Christians to pray. ⏤ Martin Luther Our Father, before we lay down to sleep, we thank You for protecting and providing for us, and for all the blessings of this day. Amen. https://www.youdevotion.com/daily-prayer/miller/11/evening #taptapstudio #youdevotion.

  • Worship Without Walls | Faith in Jesus Under a Simple Roof,

Even without a church building, their faith remains unshaken.
Under a simple mud roof, men, women, and children gather together—lifting their hands, singing praises, and worshipping Jesus Christ with pure hearts.
    The Bible reminds us:
“For where two or three gather in My name, there am I with them.” — Matthew 18:20
True worship is not about a place, but about a heart devoted to God. These believers show us that no limitation can stop the love of Christ.
Let us remember them in our prayers and stand with those who worship in simplicity but with great faith.

    DATE: TUESDAY APRIL 14TH 2026

    TOPIC: REVERSING LAWS

    MEMORISE:
O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever. - (Psalm 118:1)

    BIBLE READING: MATTHEW 14:22-32 (KJV)

22 And straightway Jesus constrained his disciples to get into a ship, and to go before him unto the other side, while he sent the multitudes away.

23 And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone.

24 But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves: for the wind was contrary.

25 And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea.

26 And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear.

27 But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.

28 And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water.

29 And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.

30 But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.

31 And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?

32 And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased.

    MESSAGE:
God made laws to control nature and the universe. However, these laws, along with every other thing that was created, were also made for His pleasure (Revelation 4:11). Whenever He wants, He can suspend the laws or reverse them to perform a miracle.

In today's Bible reading, Jesus persuaded His disciples to get into a ship and cross the sea to the other side while He went to a mountaintop to pray. By the time He came down from the mountain, the ship was already in the midst of the sea. Jesus then decided to suspend the law of gravity and walk on water to join His disciples. He didn't cancel the law; He only suspended it for a moment.

In (2 Kings 6:1-7), the sons of the prophets were cutting down wood by River Jordan, and the iron axe-head that one of them was using fell into the river and sank. Immediately, the man cried to Elisha, telling him that the axe-head was borrowed. Elisha then cut a piece of wood and threw it into the river. The wood that was supposed to float sank, and the iron axe-head floated to the surface. The Almighty God reversed the law of floatation just to perform a miracle. Likewise, in John 6:1-14, Jesus reversed the natural principle that causes things to reduce when you take out of them because He wanted to perform a miracle. When He gave His disciples the five loaves of bread and two fishes to share with the multitude, naturally speaking, the meal was meant to reduce as it was being distributed. However, because He had raised them in thanksgiving to the Father, the loaves and fishes multiplied as they were being handed out to the people.

Beloved, thanksgiving is a very powerful weapon that can cause God to suspend natural laws or reverse them on your behalf while also positioning you for tremendous multiplication. When Jesus gave thanks in John 6:11, the law of multiplication overruled the law of reduction. While grumblers and complainers experience destruction because of their murmurings (1 Corinthians 10:10), you shall experience multiplication and glorification if you engage in constant thanksgiving (Jeremiah 30:19). If you want God to suspend or reverse laws for your sake, I encourage you today to remember all that He has done and appreciate Him joyfully. I pray that the Lord will send help to you from above and reverse every law that is working against His purpose for your life, in Jesus' name.

    ACTION POINT:
Think about all the things the Lord has done for you over the years, write them down, and begin to thank Him for them.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:V1 KINGS 13-15

HYMNAL: 18 PRAISE TO THE LORD, THE ALMIGHTY, THE KING OF CREATION

1 Praise to the Lord, the Almighty, the King of creation!
O my soul, praise him, for he is your health and salvation!
Come, all who hear; now to his temple draw near,
    join me in glad adoration.
    2 Praise to the Lord, above all things so wondrously reigning;
sheltering you under his wings, and so gently sustaining!
Have you not seen all that is needful has been
    sent by his gracious ordaining?

    3 Praise to the Lord, who will prosper your work and defend you;
surely his goodness and mercy shall daily attend you.
Ponder anew what the Almighty can do,
if with his love he befriends you.

4 Praise to the Lord! O let all that is in me adore him!
All that has life and breath, come now with praises before him.
    Let the Amen sound from his people again;
    gladly forever adore him.

    GROWING IN CHRIST

By His death on the cross Jesus triumphed over the forces of evil. He who subjugated the demonic spirits during His earthly ministry has broken their power and made certain their ultimate doom. Jesus’ victory gives us victory over the evil forces that still seek to control us, as we walk with Him in peace, joy, and assurance of His love. Now the Holy Spirit dwells within us and empowers us. Continually committed to Jesus as our Saviour and Lord, we are set free from the burden of our past deeds. No longer do we live in the darkness, fear of evil powers, ignorance, and meaninglessness of our former way of life. In this new freedom in Jesus, we are called to grow into the likeness of His character, communing with Him daily in prayer, feeding on His Word, meditating on it and on His providence, singing His praises, gathering together for worship, and participating in the mission of the Church. We are also called to follow Christ’s example by compassionately ministering to the physical, mental, social, emotional, and spiritual needs of humanity. As we give ourselves in loving service to those around us and in witnessing to His salvation, His constant presence with us through the Spirit transforms every moment and every task into a spiritual experience.

  • Proverbs 1:1-9 NKJV

Proverbs 1:1-9 THE proverbs of Solomon, the son of David, king of Israel:

To know wisdom and instruction, To perceive the words of understanding.

    To receive the instruction of wisdom, Justice, judgment, and equity;

To give prudence to the simple, To the young man knowledge and discretion--

A wise man will hear and increase learning, And a man of understanding will attain wise counsel,

To understand a proverb and an enigma, The words of the wise and their riddles.

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, But fools despise wisdom and instruction.

    My son, hear the instruction of your father, And do not forsake the law of your mother;

For they will be a graceful ornament on your head, And chains about your neck.

    Proverbs 9:1-6 Wisdom has built her house, She has hewn out her seven pillars;

She has slaughtered her meat, She has mixed her wine, She has also furnished her table.

She has sent out her maidens, She cries out from the highest places of the city,

"Whoever is simple, let him turn in here!" As for him who lacks understanding, she says to him,

"Come, eat of my bread And drink of the wine I have mixed.

Forsake foolishness and live, And go in the way of understanding.

Psalm 78:1-8 GIVE ear, O my people, to my law; Incline your ears to the words of my mouth.

I will open my mouth in a parable; I will utter dark sayings of old,

Which we have heard and known, And our fathers have told us.

We will not hide them from their children, Telling to the generations to come the praises of the LORD, And His strength and His wonderful works that He has done.

    For He established a testimony in Jacob, And appointed a law in Israel, Which He commanded our fathers, That they should make them known to their children;

That the generation to come might know them, The children who would be born, That they may arise and declare them to their children,

    That they may set their hope in God, And not forget the works of God, But keep His commandments;

And may not be like their fathers, A stubborn and rebellious generation, A generation that did not set its heart aright, And whose spirit was not faithful to God.

Job 28:28 And to man He said, 'Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, And to depart from evil is understanding.'"

    Proverbs 4:1-5 Hear, my children, the instruction of a father, And give attention to know understanding;

For I give you good doctrine; Do not forsake my law.

When I was my father's son, Tender and the only one in the sight of my mother,

He also taught me, and said to me; "Let your heart retain my words; Keep my commands, and live.

Get wisdom! get understanding! Do not forget, nor turn away from the words of my mouth.

Do not forsake her, and she will preserve you; Love her, and she will keep you.

Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding.

Exalt her, and she will promote you; She will bring you honor, when you embrace her.

She will place on your head an ornament of grace; A crown of glory she will deliver to you."

Hear, my son, and receive my sayings, And the years of your life will be many.

I have taught you in the way of wisdom; I have led you in right paths.

When you walk, your steps will not be hindered, And when you run, you will not stumble,

Take firm hold of instruction, do not let go; Keep her, for she is your life.

  • Psalm 86:1-17 KJV

Psalm 86:1-17 BOW down thine ear, O LORD, hear me; for I am poor and needy.

Preserve my soul; for I am holy; O thou my God, save the servant that trusteth in thee.

Be merciful unto me, O LORD; for I cry unto thee daily.

Rejoice thy soul of the servant; for unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.

For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.

Give ear, O LORD, unto my prayer; and attend to the voice of my supplications.

In the day of my trouble I will call upon thee; for thou will answer me.

Among the gods there is none like unto thee, O LORD; neither are there any works like unto thy works.

All nations whom thou hast made shall come and worship before thee, O LORD; and shall glorify thy name.

For thy are great, and doest wondrous works; thou at God alone.

Teach me thy way, O LORD; I will walk in thy truth; unite my heart to fear thy name.

I will praise thee, O LORD my God with all my heart and I will glorify thy name for evermore.

For great is thy mercy toward me; and thou hast delivered my soul for the lowest hell.

O God, the proud are risen against me, and the assemblies of violent men have sought after my soul; and have not set thee before them.

But thou, O LORD, art a God full of compassion, and gracious, long suffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth.

O turn unto me, and have mercy upon me; give thy strength unto thy servant and save the son of thine handmaid.

Shew me a token for good, that they which hate me may see it, and be ashamed; because thou, LORD, hast holpen me, and comforted me.

Psalm 25:1-7 UNTO thee, O LORD, do I lift up my soul.

O my God, I trust in thee; let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me.

Yea, let none that wait on thee be ashamed; let them be ashamed which transgress without cause.

Shew me thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths.

Lead me in thy truth, and teach me; for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.

Remember, O LORD, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindness; for they have been ever of old.

Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions; according to thy mercy remember you me for thy goodness'sake, O LORD.

Psalm 143:1-12 HEAR my prayer, O LORD, give ear to my supplications; in thy faithfulness answer me, and in thy righteousness.

And enter not into judgment with thy servant; for in thy sight shall no man living be justified.

For the enemy hath persecuted my soul; he has smitten my life down to the ground; he hath made me to dwell in darkness, as those that have been long dead.

Therefore is my spirit overwhelmed within me; my heart within me is desolate.

I remember the days of old; I meditate on all on all thy works; I muse on the works of thy hands.

I stretch forth my hands unto thee; my soul thirsteth after thee; as a thirsty land. Se'-lah.

Hear me speedily, O LORD; my spirit faileth; hide not thy face from me, lest I be like unto them that go down into the pit.

Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust; cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.

Deliver me, O LORD, from mine enemies; I flee unto thee to hide me.

Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God; thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.

Quicken me, O LORD, for thy name's sake; for thy righteousness' sake bring my soul out of trouble.

And of thy mercy cut off mine enemies, and destroy all them that afflict my soul; for I am thy servant.

Exodus 15:11-13 Who is like unto thee, O LORD, among the gods? whom is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?

Thou stretchedst out thy right hand, the earth swallowed them.

Thou in thy mercy hast led forth the people which thou hast redeemed; thou hast guided them in thy strength unto thy holy habitation.

Psalm 27:11-14 Teach me thy way, O LORD, and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies.

Deliver me not over unto the will of mine enemies; for false witnesses are risen up against me, and such as breathe out cruelty.

I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.

Wait on the LORD; be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart; wait, I say, on the LORD.

Exodus 34:4-7 And he hewed two tables of stone like unto the first; and Mo'-ses rose up early in the morning, and went up unto Mount Si'-nai, as the LORD had commended him, and took into his hand the two tablets of stone.

And the LORD descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the LORD.

And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, the LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,

Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth generation.

And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, the LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth, Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth generation.

  • Psalm 86:1-17 NKJV

Psalm 86:1-17 BOW down Your ear, O LORD, hear me; For I am poor and needy.

Preserve my life, for I am holy; You are my God; Save Your servant who trusts in You!

Be merciful to me, O Lord, For I cry to You all day long.

Rejoice the soul of Your servant, For to you, O Lord, I lift up my soul.

For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, And abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You.

Give ear, O LORD, to my prayer; and attend to the voice of my supplications.

In the day of my trouble I will call upon You, For You will answer me.

Among the gods there is none like You, O Lord; Nor are there any works like Your works.

All nations whom You have made Shall come and worship before You, O Lord, And shall glorify Your name.

For You are great, and do wondrous things; You alone are God.

Teach me Your way, O LORD; I will walk in Your truth; Unite my heart to fear Your name.

I will praise You, O Lord my God, with all my heart, And I will glorify Your name forevermore.

For great is Your mercy toward me, And You have delivered my soul from the depths of Sheol.

O God, the proud have risen against me, And a mob of violent men have sought my life, And have not set You before them.

But You, O Lord, are a God full of compassion, and gracious, Longsuffering and abundant in mercy and truth.

Oh, turn to me, and have mercy on me! Give Your strength to your servant, And save the son of Your maidservant.

Show me a sign for good, That those who hate me may see it and be ashamed, Because you LORD, have helped me and comforted me.

Psalm 25:1-7 TO You, O Lord, I lift up my soul.

O my God, I trust in You; Let me not be ashamed; Let not my enemies triumph over me.

Indeed, let no one who waits on You be ashamed; Let those be ashamed who deal treacherously without cause.

Show me Your ways, O LORD; Teach me Your paths.

Lead me in Your truth and teach me, For you are the God of my salvation; On You I wait all the day.

Remember, O LORD, Your tender mercies and Your lovingkindness, For they are from of old.

  • Psalm 64:1-10 Longer NKJV

Psalm 64:1-10 HEAR my voice, O God, in my meditation; Preserve my life from fear of the enemy,

Hide me from the secret plots of the wicked, From the rebellion of the workers of iniquity,

Who sharpen their tongue like a sword, And bend their bows to shoot their arrows--bitter words,

That they may shoot in secret at the blameless; Suddenly they shoot at him and do not fear.

They encourage themselves in an evil matter; They talk of laying snares secretly; They say, "Who will see them?"

They devise iniquities; "We have perfected a shrewd scheme." Both the inward thought and the heart of man are deep.

But God shall shoot at them with an arrow; Suddenly they shall be wounded,

So He will make them stumble over their own tongue; All who see them shall flee away.

All men shall fear, And shall declare the work of God; For they shall wisely consider His doing.

The righteous shall be glad in the LORD, and trust in Him. And all the upright in heart shall glory.

Psalm 10:1-18 WHY do You stand afar off, O LORD? Why do You hide in times of trouble?

The wicked in his pride persecutes the poor; Let them be caught in the plots which they have devised.

For the wicked boasts of his heart's desire; He blesses the greedy and renounces the LORD.

The wicked in his proud countenance does not seek God; God is in none of his thoughts.

His ways are always prospering; Your judgments are far above, out of his sight; As for all his enemies, he sneers at them.

He has said in his heart, "I shall not be moved; I shall never be in adversity."

His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and oppression; Under his tongue is trouble and iniquity.

He sits in the lurking places of the villages; In the secret places he murders the innocent; His eyes are secretly fixed on the helpless.

He lies in wait secretly, as a lion in his den; He lies in wait to catch the poor; He catches the poor when he draws him into his net.

So he crouches, he lies low, That the helpless may fall by his strength.

He has said in his heart, "God has forgotten; He hides His face; He will never see."

Arise, O LORD! O God, lift up Your hand! Do not forget the humble.

Why do the wicked renounce God? He has said in his heart, "You will not require an account."

But You have Seen, for you observe trouble and grief, To repay it by Your hand. The helpless commits himself to You; You are the helper of the fatherless.

Break the arm of the wicked and the evil man; Seek out his wickedness until You find none.

The LORD is King forever and ever; The nations have perished out of His land.

LORD, you have heard the desire of the humble; You will prepare their heart; You will cause your ear to hear.

To do justice to the fatherless and the oppressed, that the man of the earth may oppress no more.

Psalm 59:1-17 DELIVER me from my enemies, O my God; Defend me from those who rise up against me.

Deliver me from the workers of iniquity, And save me from bloodthirsty men.

For look, they lie in wait for my life; The mighty gather against me, Not for my transgression nor for my sin, O LORD.

They run and prepare themselves through no fault of mine. Awake to help me, and behold!

You therefore, O LORD God of hosts, the God of Israel, Awake to punish all the nations; Do not be merciful to any wicked transgressors. Selah

At evening they return, They growl like a dog, and go all around the city.

Indeed, they belch with their mouth; swords are in their lips; For they say, "Who hears?"

But You. O LORD, shall laugh at them; You shall have all the nations in derosion.

I will wait for You, O You his Strength; For God is my defense.

My god of mercy shall come to meet me; God shall let me see my desire on my enemies.

Do not slay them, lest people forget; Scatter them by Your power, And bring them down, O LORD our shield.

For the sin of their mouth and the words of their lips, Let them even be taken in their pride, And for the cursing and lying which they speak.

Consume them in wrath, consume them, That they may not be; And let them now that God rules in Jacob To the ends of the earth. Selah

And at evening they return, They growl like a dog, And go all around the city.

They wander up and down for food, And howl if they are not satisfied.

But I will sing of Your power; Yes, I will sing aloud of Your mercy in the morning; For You have been my defense And refuge in the day of my trouble.

To You, O my Strength, I will sing praises; For God is my defense, My God of mercy.

Psalm 31:9-18 Have mercy on me, O LORD, for I am in trouble; My eye wastes away with grief, Yes, my soul and my body!

For my life is spent with grief, And my years with sighing; My strength fails because of my iniquity, And my bones waste away.

I am a reproach among all my enemies, But especially among my neighbors, And am repulsive to my acquaintances; Those who see me outside flee from me.

I am forgotten like a dead man, out of mind; I am like a broken vessel,

For I hear the slander of many; Fear is on every side; While they take counsel together against me, They scheme to take away my life.

But as for me, I trust in You, O LORD; I say, "You are my God."

My times are in Your hand; Deliver me from the hand of my enemies, And from those who persecute me.

make Your face shine upon Your servant; save me for Your mercies' sake.

Do not let me be ashamed, O LORD, for I have called upon You; Let the wicked be ashamed; Let them be silent in the grave.

Let the lying lips be put to silence, Which speak insolent things proudly and contemptuously against the righteous.

Jeremiah 50:28 The voice of those who flee and escape from the land of babylon Declares in Zion the vengeance of the LORD our God, The vengeance of His temple.

Psalm 32:10-11 Many sorrows shall be to the wicked; But he who trusts in the LORD, mercy shall surround him.

Be glad in the LORD and rejoice, you righteous; and shout for joy, all you upright in heart!

DAY 4 – PRAISING IN VICTORY
What happens when praise becomes your weapon?

#WorshipAndTheWord – The Sound of Victory: Praise That Breaks Chains
    #WeSingHallelujah #KariJobe #RaiseAHallelujah #BethelMusic

Your praise is not passive—it is powerful and victorious.

Throughout Scripture, praise has always been a weapon in the hands of God’s people. When Jesus secured the victory, He gave us authority to declare it—and praise becomes the sound of that victory.

When you lift your voice in worship, chains break, fear flees, and heaven moves. Praise shifts your focus from the battle to the One who has already won.

    Praise Brings Breakthrough
This shows what happens when we worship in faith
    Acts 16:25–26 (BSB)
“About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly a strong earthquake shook the foundations of the prison. At once all the doors flew open and everyone’s chains came loose.”
Praise in the middle of the battle releases breakthrough.

    All Creation Sings His Praise
If we don't, all Creation will certainly praise HIm
Isaiah 44:23 "Sing, O heavens, for the LORD has done it; shout, O depths of the earth; break forth into singing, O mountains, O forest, and every tree in it!"
    Isaiah 55:12
"For you shall go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and the hills before you shall break forth into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands."
    Psalm 48
    1 Hallelujah!
    Praise the LORD from the heavens;
praise Him in the highest places.
    2 Praise Him, all His angels;
praise Him, all His heavenly hosts.
    3 Praise Him, O sun and moon;
praise Him, all you shining stars.
4 Praise Him, O highest heavens,
and you waters above the skies.
5 Let them praise the name of the LORD,
for He gave the command and they were created
Luke 19:40 "I tell you, if they keep quiet, the very stones will cry out!"

    God Dwells In Praise
This reveals the power of worship
    Psalms 22:3
“But You are holy, O You who inhabit the praises of Israel.”
When you praise, you create space for God’s presence to move.

    Beloved:
Do not let silence steal your victory. Lift your voice!
Praise when you feel it—and praise when you don’t. Praise in the valley and praise on the mountain. The enemy cannot stand in the atmosphere of worship.
Declare hallelujah over your situation. Sing your victory before you see it. Let your praise rise above every fear and every circumstance.
Victory has a sound—and today, it is your praise.

    Prayer:
Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank You for the power of praise.
I reject heaviness, fear, and silence. I reject every lie that tries to hold back my worship.
I receive joy, boldness, and freedom to praise You in every situation. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and let my worship release breakthrough in my life. Let me inspired by the praise of all creation, and join in glorious and victorious praise
Teach me to praise You at all times, not just when I feel happy, and to lift my voice in victory, for you alone are worthy.
I declare that my praise will glorify You and shift every atmosphere around me.
    In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

Praise shifts your focus from the battle to the One who has already won. 📝 Praise Brings Breakthrough ✏️ This shows what happens when we worship in faith 📖 Acts 16:25–26 (BSB) “About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly a strong earthquake shook the foundations of the prison. At once all the doors flew open and everyone’s chains came loose.” ➡️ Praise in the middle of the battle releases breakthrough. 📝 All Creation Sings His Praise ✏️ If we don't, all Creation will certainly praise HIm 📖 Isaiah 44:23 "Sing, O heavens, for the LORD has done it; shout, O depths of the earth; break forth into singing, O mountains, O forest, and every tree in it!" 📖 Isaiah 55:12 "For you shall go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and the hills before you shall break forth into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands." 📖 Psalm 48 1 Hallelujah! Praise the LORD from the heavens; praise Him in the highest places. 2 Praise Him, all His angels; praise Him, all His heavenly hosts. 3 Praise Him, O sun and moon; praise Him, all you shining stars. 4 Praise Him, O highest heavens, and you waters above the skies. 5 Let them praise the name of the LORD, for He gave the command and they were created 📖 Luke 19:40 "I tell you, if they keep quiet, the very stones will cry out!" 📝 God Dwells In Praise ✏️ This reveals the power of worship 📖 Psalms 22:3 “But You are holy, O You who inhabit the praises of Israel.” ➡️ When you praise, you create space for God’s presence to move. 🎺 Beloved: Do not let silence steal your victory. 👑🎶🔥 🙏 Prayer: Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank You for the power of praise. I reject heaviness, fear, and silence. I reject every lie that tries to hold back my worship. I receive joy, boldness, and freedom to praise You in every situation. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and let my worship release breakthrough in my life. Let me inspired by the praise of all creation, and join in glorious and victorious praise Teach me to praise You at all times, not just when I feel happy, and to lift my voice in victory, for you alone are worthy. I declare that my praise will glorify You and shift every atmosphere around me. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen. 🎶📖🔥🙏 🎹 #AltarFrontWorship 🙌🏾 with #PsChrisB-090426🎶 © “Forever-We Sing Hallelujah” – Kari Jobe – 2014 © “Raise A Hallelujah” – Bethel Music – 2019 Used under Fair Use/Dealing for the purpose of Worship and Teaching All rights reserved. 📺 Watch 🔴 YT: https://www.youtube.com/live/Rjp56Wp3OWc 🔵 FB: https://www.facebook.com/share/v/18RuDxhCVM/ ✅ Subscribe | 👣 Follow | ❤️ Like | 🔄 Share ▶️ YouTube/FB: [christopherboothministries] ⚫ TT: PsChrisB 🟧 IG: christopheroz; stchristopheroz; christopherboothoz ✝️ Church: clg.org.au #PraisingInVictory #RaiseAHallelujah #WeSingHallelujah #Acts1625 #Psalm223 #ChristopherBooth #ChurchOfTheLivingGod #CLGPastor
