  • DECLARATION – MONTH OF MAY: DIVINE FAVOR (5)

The eye of God sees everything and knows all things, far beyond our human and imperfect nature. No one on earth is perfect, because every day we are learning to let go of that nature in order to live for Him.

Let us fear God, for even the smallest details of our lives do not escape Him. What man does not see, the invisible realm bears witness to.

As it is written in Psalm 139:1–3:
*"O Lord, You have searched me and known me.
    You know when I sit down and when I rise up;
You understand my thoughts from afar.
You comprehend my path and my lying down,
And are acquainted with all my ways."*

In this month of May (5) a month of grace, favor, ministry, open windows, and a heart turned toward God .I declare that you are entering a new dimension.

    The year 2026 (10 = 1) represents a new beginning.
A door is opening before you.

But remember: you have the ability to receive grace…or to reject it.

What is the favor you are asking God for?
What does your heart truly desire?

Today, a window is open before you.
It is up to you to choose: to open it fully or to close it.

You stand before your own responsibility.

Whether you are a servant of God,a business leader,a student,or walking into your calling… this month is a divine opportunity.

    Turn your eyes toward God.
    Walk in reverence before Him.
And receive the favor that transforms a life.

May the favor of God rest upon you throughout this month.
May doors open, grace overflow, and may your life reflect His glory in every way.

  • 1 Peter 1

In this you rejoice, though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been grieved by various trials, so that the tested genuineness of your faith—more precious than gold that perishes though it is tested by fire—may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ. Though you have not seen him, you love him. Though you do not now see him, you believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory, obtaining the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls. (1 Pet. 1:6–9)

When we experience painful things—a cancer diagnosis, the death of a loved one, a financial strain, or some injustice—it’s hard to think that God is in control and that he sent those things into our lives. It may even cause us to doubt his goodness. Peter helps us see how a good God allows trials and troubles. And no pain or grief can touch us apart from what he deems “necessary.” How comforting to realize that for every difficulty he allows in our lives, there are countless more that he has prevented! The necessity of the trials that God does allow is clarified in verse 7: genuine faith is strengthened, not destroyed, in times of difficulty. Trials are designed to test believers’ faith.

God’s testings aren’t like school exams, where we have to prove our knowledge and skill. Tests of faith are God’s way of purifying and refining, which is why Peter describes this divine process as “tested by fire.” Peter illustrates by pointing to the worth and beauty of gold, a value that is evident only after this precious metal has been heated so hot in a fire that all the impurities are burned away. This refining imagery is also found in the Old Testament (see, for example, Job 23:8–10; Ps. 66:10–12; Prov. 17:3). We can glean a vital truth from this passage: rejoicing in our salvation comes through understanding our salvation. As we trust God in the midst of difficulties, we learn through experience that he is everything he has promised to be.

The suffering of the difficulties is what works to refine our faith. This is clear when Peter writes that “if necessary, you have been grieved by various trials” (v. 6). While sorrow and pain can harden unbelievers and lead them to shake their fist in God’s face, hearts captivated by Christ cling to him more tightly when life is rough and learn to trust him more fully, as he proves again and again that he is sufficient for every trial we face.

The end result of God’s purifying work is a faith that will share in the “praise and glory and honor” that Jesus receives when he returns, what Peter calls “the revelation of Jesus Christ.” So the more we rest our faith in God and all he is for us in Christ—even when we suffer—the more joy we’ll experience both now and forever.

  • The Joy of Letting Go

    Written By Victor Bowen
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
    Proverbs 3:5–6
Most of us carry quiet plans for our lives. Some are personal—the career we imagine, the relationships we hope for, the timeline we carefully sketch out. Others are ministry dreams—the impact we long to see, the doors we hope God will open. Without realizing it, we begin holding these plans tightly. Not because we distrust God. But because we think we know the best way forward.

Recently, God invited me to experience surrender in a deeper way.

For several years, I believed he was leading me toward a particular ministry. I prayed for it, trained for it, planned for it, and waited for God’s timing to open the door. But during a long bus ride, the Holy Spirit began stirring something unexpected in my heart. As the miles passed, I prayed and wrestled with God. Slowly it became clear: the very thing I thought I was preparing for was the thing he was asking me to release. Letting go hurt. This dream wasn’t just an idea—it was something I had shaped my life around. I thought of Jacob wrestling with God in the night (Genesis 32). That’s exactly what it felt like—wrestling through questions, fears, and disappointment until surrender finally began to replace resistance. At last, I told the Lord, “If this dream is not from you, I lay it down.”

And something surprising happened. Peace came first. Then joy. And with the joy came rest—a deep sense that I no longer had to carry the weight of making this ministry happen. I could stop striving, stop trying to force the future, and simply walk with God. What I thought would feel like loss became something unexpected: freedom.

Proverbs 3:5–6 calls us to trust God with all our heart. That kind of trust goes beyond belief. It means releasing control.

“Lean not on your own understanding” confronts a subtle temptation for many of us— especially those serving in ministry. We often believe that if we plan carefully enough or work hard enough, the outcomes we hope for will come.

But the Kingdom of God does not run on human certainty.

God invites us to submit every path to him—our plans, our timelines, our ministry dreams. And when we do, he promises something remarkable: he will make our paths straight.

Notice what the verse does not say. It does not promise that God will simply bless our plans. Instead, he reshapes our path altogether. And surprisingly, surrender is not loss. It is joy. Because when we release what we think is best, we open our hands to receive what God knows is best. The Holy Spirit often does his most beautiful work in the space where our control ends.

For those serving Jesus—especially in ministry—surrender can feel risky. We care deeply about the mission. We want fruit. We want to see lives changed. But the work of transformation ultimately belongs to God. Our role is faithfulness.

When we lay down our expectations and seek the Spirit’s guidance instead, something shifts. Anxiety loosens. Prayer deepens. We begin to notice where God is already at work rather than forcing our own direction. Surrender becomes less about giving something up and more about walking closely with Jesus. And in that place, we discover a deeper joy than success ever provided—the joy of trusting the One who sees the whole story.

Father, I confess how easily I cling to my own plans. I want things to go the way I imagine. Teach me to trust you with all my heart. Help me release my expectations, my timelines, and even my ministry dreams into your hands. Holy Spirit, guide my steps and shape my desires so that I want what you want. Give me joy in surrender and confidence that your plans are always better than mine. Amen.

Throughout This Day: Ask the Holy Spirit: “What am I still holding too tightly?” Write it down. Then pray a simple surrender: “Lord, I give this to you. Lead me in your way.” Return to Proverbs 3:5–6 whenever you feel the urge to take control again.

  • G’day
    DAY 2 – SPEAK LORD
Are you listening for the voice of God?
In a world of noise, do you know the sound of His whisper?
    #WorshipAndTheWord – A Listening Servant
    #HereIAmSendMe #DarleneZschech
God often speaks to those who make room to hear Him.
Through Jesus Christ, we are no longer separated from God. We are His sheep, and He still speaks to His people by His Spirit, through His Word, and with loving clarity.
Because we belong to Him, we do not have to live confused or directionless. A listening heart becomes a fruitful life.

    The Gentle Whisper of God
The Lord often speaks beyond the noise and spectacle.
    1 Kings 19:11–12 (BSB)
“Then the LORD said, ‘Go out and stand on the mountain before the LORD.’ And behold, the LORD passed by, and a great and powerful wind tore through the mountains and shattered the rocks before the LORD, but the LORD was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the LORD was not in the earthquake. After the earthquake came a fire, but the LORD was not in the fire. And after the fire came a gentle whisper.”
God is not limited to dramatic moments—He often meets us in quiet intimacy.

    The Voice of God
    God still speaks today.
    John 10:27
“My sheep listen to My voice; I know them, and they follow Me.”
Sons and daughters of God can know His voice.

    Samuel’s Response
    The right posture unlocks direction.
    1 Samuel 3:10
“Then the LORD came and stood there, calling as at other times, ‘Samuel! Samuel!’ And Samuel answered, ‘Speak, for Your servant is listening.’”
    Availability invites revelation.

    This Is the Way
God gives direction to listening hearts.
    Isaiah 30:21
“And whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear this command behind you: ‘This is the way. Walk in it.’”
Isaiah 6:8: Then I heard the voice of the Lord... “Here am I. Send me!”
God faithfully guides those who stay attentive to Him, and make themselves available

    Beloved:
Reject noise, distraction, and spiritual dullness. Cast down the lie that God is silent. He is speaking—through Scripture, conviction, wisdom, and peace. Stay close to the Good Shepherd, and know his voice above the noise.
Position yourself today. Slow down. Listen again. The Lord still leads willing hearts.
    Prayer:
Father, in the name of Jesus, thank You that You are not distant or silent. I reject confusion, distraction, and unbelief. I receive clarity, discernment, and a listening spirit.
Holy Spirit, sharpen my ears to hear the voice of Jesus and strengthen me to obey quickly.
I am led by God and taught by His Spirit.
    In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
