Simple rules...
1. No one is allowed to ask for your contact info, or other social media accounts. That is usually an attempt to isolate you. Stay on Lordsbook, unless you know them personally.
2. Scammers usually have some high sounding career like a General in the Military, or Engineer on an oil rig. This is to set the stage as to why they cannot meet with you in person, or might not talk for a few days.
3. They are usually 'widowed', but at least single or divorced.
4. They have something in their photo that pulls on your heart, like a puppy or flowers.
5. Check their 'Followings' in their profile... See if they are following an abnormal amount of one sex, and if that number is WAY higher than followers.
There are more, but use your gut. Even if you even suspect a little bit of misconduct, PLEASE report them right away. We will do the research to see if they are a threat. If not, it's ok. We would rather have it reported to be sure.
