Simple rules...
1. No one is allowed to ask for your contact info, or other social media accounts. That is usually an attempt to isolate you. Stay on Lordsbook, unless you know them personally.
2. Scammers usually have some high sounding career like a General in the Military, or Engineer on an oil rig. This is to set the stage as to why they cannot meet with you in person, or might not talk for a few days.
3. They are usually 'widowed', but at least single or divorced.
4. They have something in their photo that pulls on your heart, like a puppy or flowers.
5. Check their 'Followings' in their profile... See if they are following an abnormal amount of one sex, and if that number is WAY higher than followers.
There are more, but use your gut. Even if you even suspect a little bit of misconduct, PLEASE report them right away. We will do the research to see if they are a threat. If not, it's ok. We would rather have it reported to be sure.

I had a 'Pastor' from a poor country, who had a very good profile and pics of his 'church'.
He was extremely polite to the point of being fake. He insisted I give him my number to get on whatsapp. The excuse was that he wanted me to teach him about God. Even after I sent my entire teaching channel on youtube, he still insisted on another platform. I informed him 3 times he cannot do that, and that I would not. Yet he continued.
Needless to say, he was reported and banned.
Do NOT be afraid to report someone no matter how good the profile looks. The team will look much deeper and take appropriate actions.

- I've had more than one person approach me to chat, and suddenly, they're having issues with their app, so they can't keep up with what's being said, or what ever excuse they want to use, and want me to go to WhatsApp, or Telegram, or any of other chat apps, as long as they can get me off of Lordsbook to talk "more privately". It's all to try to pull a scam. It's not just once in a while, either. EVERY TIME they want you to go to a different chat app, they want to pull a scam. Report them as soon as they try to get you off Lordsbook. They WILL be blocked. Such Fake profiles are almost exclusively prepared by MEN in criminal groups and are designed to attract other men and their $$$

I recommend that EVERYONE place such a photo there right now. The Male / Female cartoon avatar images serve no useful purpose.
