Luke 16: 19-31

Jesus tells the story of a rich man who lived in luxury while a poor beggar, Lazarus, suffered outside his gate. When they died, Lazarus was comforted in heaven while the rich man was in torment. The rich man begged for relief and for his family to be warned, but it was too late.

The message: Wealth and status mean nothing after death—what matters is how we live before God, showing mercy and compassion to others.
