That action of yours that agreed with the thoughts in your heart in getting a fruit plucked from the tree is called FAITH in other words BELIEF in this context...

Jesus said, _*Matt.21.22 - And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.*_

Praying to God about something and not going for it is not an act of Faith, prayers do the works spiritually while our actions in obedience to the Holy Spirit bring the desired to reality.
Believing is not just the mental agreement and relaxing, it is taking actions after praying as directed by the Holy Ghost

In times past it really bothered me to see how people ask God for things and they never got it, even with tears, it almost made me doubt the authenticity of depending on prayers, until I came across this scripture, and God established it in my heart that heavenly blessings aren't released on emotional expressions or demands from random requesters., they are delivered when the conditions are fully met.

Jesus said, _*If you live in Me [abide vitally united to Me] and My words remain in you and continue to live in your hearts, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you.*_

I hope this redirects our focus into studying how to live in Him and have His words abiding in our hearts..
