- I had a stroke 3 years ago sept2022. had a subarachnoid cyst that bursted. left me in a coma for 6 weeks. on a ventilator. had a trache. spent 6 months in two different nursing homes for rehab. I have a shunt. still doing physical therapy. is walking some. but most wheelchair bound. still owe about 40,000 in medical cost but I'm getting there. they call me miracle Barb. my husband of 35 years and my 2 adult children are always by my side.
