  • I just want to say that I am thankful for this platform. I am also thankful for all of the contributors. I am always searching for people and pages to follow. Your insights and depth of knowledge provoke thought and study. My morning coffee is spent here, with you. My feed is expanding daily. There are believers here from all over the world, some in areas of heavy Christian persecution. We are blessed to be able to lift each other up and help to stay focused on Christ, and keep our brothers and sisters in prayer. Through our character that God has shaped, we each contribute a unique perspective and in depth study of biblical truths that are relevant every day of our lives. So, just want to say thanks for making this space relevant to all Christians everywhere.

  • 17 years ago, I started dialysis. I was 41 years old at the time. I put off starting the treatments out of denial. I was 2 weeks away from death. I was angry with God. The time that I was on Dialysis, life was fragile, still is. Praying was just as essential as breathing! I needed God every minute of the day every day. When I was broken is when Jesus came to the rescue and showed me how he is the essence of life. Today is my 12th year anniversary of my kidney transplant. I need him just as much as I ever have, but its amazing how arrogant the human spirit can be thinking that you can do things on your own.

  • I have been pondering my life and my walk with Christ. I want to live my life with no regrets, I want to change so that my thoughts, my words and my actions are not worldly or ordinary. I know that I cannot make these changes myself. I must be obedient to the Holy Spirit. Minute by minute I must align my thoughts with Christ, to pray that the Holy Spirit guides me. Hour by Hour I must praise his Holy name because he is everything! I must pray that my worldly desires change to heavenly ones. How will I stand in life's storms? I must pray to have my mind and spirit renewed. I will pray for disernment so when the enemy encroaches my mind or my circumstances, I will petition the Awsome God of the Universe. Jesus has made a way for my redemption. Because Jesus lives, I will live also. I will stand upon his promises. My only decision is to accept Jesus wholly and completly. Jesus will do the rest.

    Phillipians 1:6
6 And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.

    2 Corinthians 10:5
5 We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ,

    Romans 12:2
Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

    Ephesians 6:11-18
11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. 14 Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. 16 In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; 17 and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, 18 praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication.

  • I just want to lift somebody up! we all need it! its not easy navigating through this life and this fallen world. Sometimes God feels distant, and we might even feel abandoned. Thats not the reality. We have to step back in because we have stepped out. We sometimes become comfortable with sin again. Until the repentant heart yields to the Holy Spirit. Satan wants you comfortable with sin. The last thing he wants is for us to Run to Jesus! We must yield to the Holy Spirit and stay in the presence of God instead of stepping out! The sin doesn't have to be egregious. Just enough to take our focus off of Jesus! Pray that we bring all of our thoughts captive! Pray that the Holy Spirit would renew our minds and our hearts! We need to be conscious of what we allow ourselves too see and hear. Run from this empty sinful world into the arms of our Reedemer!
    Amen!!!
