- Prayer of the Intercessor
Heavenly Father,
I come before You not for myself alone, but standing in the gap for others; for the lost, the broken, the weary, and the wandering. You have called me to intercede, not because I am worthy, but because Your Spirit within me groans with words I cannot express.
Lord, teach me to carry Your burdens, not my own.
When You place someone on my heart, let me respond with compassion, not complaint. Let my prayers be led by Your Spirit and not by emotion; anchored in faith, not fear.
Break my heart for what breaks Yours.
Let me feel the weight of injustice, the ache of those who don’t know Your love, the cries of the oppressed, and the silence of those too broken to speak. Yet, Father, don’t let that weight crush me; teach me to lay it back at Your feet.
Remind me, Lord, that I am not the savior; You are.
I am the vessel. I am the voice You use to declare life over dry bones, freedom over captives, and peace over chaos. When I grow weary, renew my strength. When I doubt, remind me that Your Word never returns void.
I lift up the prodigals, Lord; sons and daughters who have wandered far from You.
Draw them home with cords of lovingkindness. Send laborers into their paths who speak truth in love.
I lift up the leaders and pastors, that they would walk in humility, purity, and the fear of the Lord. Protect them from temptation, burnout, and deception.
I lift up the brokenhearted and the bound,
that they may find deliverance and healing in the name of Yeshua ; Jesus, the Messiah.
Father, use me however You choose.
If it means sleepless nights, tears, or silence; let it be for Your glory.
Let me never grow numb to the needs of Your people,
but let my heart stay tender, my spirit discerning,
and my faith unshaken.
Today I take up the mantle of intercession with joy and reverence.
I bind every lie of the enemy, and I release the truth of Your Word into the atmosphere.
I declare that chains will break, prodigals will return, and revival will awaken in hidden places.
For Yours is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever.
In Jesus’ mighty name,
Amen.Prayer of the Intercessor Heavenly Father, I come before You not for myself alone, but standing in the gap for others; for the lost, the broken, the weary, and the wandering.
