My name is Nakul Mohan, and I am from India. I was born into a Hindu family; however, for more than two years, I have been a devoted follower of my Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ. I seek understanding regarding the suffering I have endured since childhood.

I have no memory of my mother, as she left my father due to his severe alcoholism and abusive behavior, taking my sister with her. I do not remember either of them. My father later married multiple times, but each marriage ended in separation. His fourth wife subjected me to continuous physical and emotional abuse. She often denied me food, locked me out of the house, and treated me with cruelty. At times, I survived on food given by neighbors.

Eventually, concerned neighbors advised my father to send me to a hostel. I spent most of my childhood and education there, often alone even during festivals. My stepmother also mistreated my father, especially during his battle with cancer, neglecting his basic needs.

After my father’s death, I was left alone and forced to earn money, which I had to give to my stepmother in exchange for minimal food. Living in fear, I left home. After a period of hardship, working as a housekeeper, I met a woman named Kima, who showed me compassion and guided me in faith. She introduced me to the Bible and remains a significant presence in my life.

Despite enduring immense suffering, I continue to persevere. I am currently fighting a legal battle to reclaim my rightful inheritance. My question remains: why was I subjected to such adversity from childhood? I trust that God, in His justice, will ultimately grant me what I deserve.

I was born into a traditional Hindu family, but through personal conviction and faith, I have chosen to follow my Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ. However, I am currently facing a serious challenge in India: I am unable to receive baptism, as many churches are reluctant to support converts due to fear of opposition and misunderstanding from idol worshippers.

I am walking this path alone, without the support of family or friends, and this has caused me deep emotional and spiritual suffering. I am not seeking conflict—only guidance, acceptance, and the opportunity to formally commit my life to Christ.

As it is written, “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” I am asking with sincerity, seeking with faith, and knocking with hope. I humbly request guidance and support from those who can help me take this important spiritual step.
