I grew up working on vehicles with my dad and brother. And to get me out of the way sometimes, I got the job of putting the tools away. Standard, metric, sockets, screwdrivers, and wrenches. But there were also tools that weren't used all the time that served specific purposes. Odd balls. I put them all in one drawer and labeled them "funky tools". This irritated them sometimes. They would go to look for a wire stripper for example and I'd ask "Did you check the funky tool drawer?" 🤣 This morning in prayer, the Lord reminded me of the funky tool drawer. Prayer. Fasting. Repentance. Worship. Praise. These are the wrenches, screwdrivers, and sockets of our walk with GOD. Necessary staples. But them funky tools..... GLORY!!!! My most gracious Father...unveil the funky tools in your Kingdom and magnify their purposes!! Open that drawer, and use us for your will!! Use us to destroy the fortresses against family, workplace, community,and government!! Amplify the effectual and the effective!! Strengthen the confidence of our anointing and appointing!! Bless us with depth in YOUR design of us!! Place us where we need to be and shake off the dust that limits our intended design!! Bless us with the fresh oil of your Mercy that we may not rust in complacency!! In Jesus' name I pray...Amen!!

It's a gorgeous day in the Appalachia's... And as I watch another season begin to show evidence of arrival, I am grounded in my faith that my Lord Jesus is coming for me. All my life, love has been somewhat complicated. And again and again, over and over, God has shown me what it is. At times I can't handle it. But how could I not be loyal to that beautiful Savior Sacrifice? How could I not want more? How could I not desire to plug in to all HE has so graciously designed for me? How could I not want it? I am burdened for those that don't know or don't want. Lord, give us revival!! And may it fall here.... Amen.

Yesterday, I asked the Lord to see me. I needed His attention. I went about my day. Went to the lobby to clean up some tables where I work. There was the penny with a cross punched through the headspace :) Looked in the windowsill, and there's a reminder that Jesus loves me. ❤️❤️❤️
