Scripture warns that deception is a serious sin, coming from the human heart and from external sources like false teachers and the devil. Key verses include Jeremiah 17:9, which states that "the heart is deceitful above all things," and Ephesians 5:6, which advises against being "deceived with empty words". Overcoming deception involves rejecting lies, practicing truthfulness, and discerning false teachings by comparing them to the Bible.

This week I learned how God will warn me. I wasnt sure it was Him so I carried on as planned. It did not go as planned. When that fell apart, I had a new understanding of God conversing with me. And if only I had listened.

So, not many females here. This seems like a males only social website. Perhaps I came to the wrong place looking for like minded individuals to share my faith with.

I won't be checking this very often as no one wants to discuss Jesus.

Tonight my heart is heavy. After 5 years I know that I am clearly not processing the death of my husband correctly. But I've at least became open to "the next one"; previously just hurt and uninterested in finding another heart break. But I'm lonely. I miss the comfortable silence we had. I miss his laugh. He was the sweet to my spice, always being the bridge from spicy me to the public. His sweet covered my spice. I miss him. Finding the next one, in these times, with this culture, I'm truly afraid that I'll be alone in the end anyway. Just a heavy heart full of sadness.

Today is the 5th anniversary of the day I became a widow.

Brokenness is God's requirement for maximum usefulness. Remember that when the enemy tries to remind you of what a mess you are. Remind him that God will turn your mess into His message.
