  • CHAPTER ONE

God Is Speaking, But Are You Hearing?

There is a sound from heaven that never ceases. It may not shake the earth like thunder or flash across the sky like lightning, but it is clear. It is gentle. It is persistent. It is the voice of the Almighty.
From the garden of Eden to the cross of Calvary, and from the Upper Room to this very moment—God has always spoken.
The issue has never been about God’s silence. The problem has always been about man’s reception.
“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.” – John 10:27
The Tragedy of a Muffled Signal
I once met a young man after a service who wept as he spoke with me. He had just made a major business decision, claiming God told him to invest. He had drained his savings, borrowed funds, and even sowed a “dangerous seed” as instructed by someone he looked up to. Months later, the business crumbled. His life was in shambles, and his faith in God was hanging by a thread.

“Sir,” he asked me, “did I hear God, or was I hearing my own ambition?”
That question haunts more believers than they’d ever admit.
It’s a dangerous thing to live under the assumption that every voice you hear is from God. Worse still is the belief that hearing God is reserved for pastors, prophets, and bishops alone. This lie has made many Christians spiritually lazy—waiting to be spoon-fed divine direction.
But let me tell you plainly: you can hear God.
Not because you are perfect, but because you are His.

  • As children of God, we are called to walk in the unity of faith, striving together toward one goal—Heaven. We must not follow the pattern of this world where love is lacking, but rather, let us reflect Christ in our words and actions. Let love and unity be our way of life.

"Till we all come to the unity of the faith… to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ." – Ephesians 4:13

"Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind." – Romans 12:2

"Let all that you do be done in love." – 1 Corinthians 16:14

I love you, my brothers and sisters in Christ. Let’s be Christlike.
