Chapter 2:
Verse 3: Let no one deceive you in any way. For it will not be unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of destruction.

Verse 4: He opposes and exalts himself against all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, setting himself up as God.

Verse 6: Now you know what is restraining him, to the end that he may be revealed in his own season.

Verse 7: For the mystery of lawlessness already works. Only there is one who restrains now, until he is taken out of the way.

Proverbs 24:10

2 Thessalonians 2:1
(NLT) Now, dear brothers and sisters, let us clarify some things about the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and how we will be gathered to meet him.
2 Thessalonians 2:3
(NLT) Don’t be fooled by what they say. For that day will not come until there is a great rebellion against God and the man of lawlessness is revealed—the one who brings destruction.
