Salvation, not by gold and silver, but by precious blood According to the Holy Bible, the salvation or redemption of man is not achieved through worldly wealth such as gold and silver, but is a spiritual gift that is given by God. This fact is specifically stated in the First Epistle of Peter 1:18–19, where it is stated that the salvation of man is not achieved by “corruptible things” but by the “precious blood” of Jesus Christ. In the Bible, Jesus Christ is called the “Lamb of God,” who was sacrificed to atone for the sins of mankind. According to this concept, his sacrifice was a perfect and spotless sacrifice, which freed man from the slavery of sin. Furthermore, the Epistle to the Hebrews 9:12 also mentions that Christ obtained eternal salvation through his blood. Similarly, the Book of Revelation 1:5 states that he cleansed us from sins by his blood.

Lord, I thank you for your love, care, and protection. You have been so good to me from the start and continue to be. I know that faith in Jesus is not enough; I want to love and obey you.
