Then He poured water into the basin, and began to wash the disciples' feet and to wipe them with the towel with which He was girded. So He came to Simon Peter. The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD: "Arise, and go down to the potter's house, and there I will let you hear my words." So I went down to the potter's house, and there he was working at his wheel. And the vessel he was making of clay was spoiled in the potter's hand, and he reworked it into another vessel, as it seemed good to the potter to do.

Just as the potter works the lump of clay and removes the imperfections, God molds and shapes you. Where you are today is because God worked in your life yesterday.
When my wife and I met, I was dealing with the impending passing of my Dad from cancer. I had gotten into nature photography and shared a nature photo. We struck up a conversation. We lived in two separate states. There was so many reasons for us to not meet and strike up a relationship beyond a single common interest.
I was also starting a new career, had been in and out of relationships, many never got to the second date. With my dad's illness and impending demise, the last thing I thought I needed was to start a new relationship.
Lo, and behold, after my dad passed. I got a job offer in her state. I had applied to openings in my own backyard. Never got a call from anyone but a hospital in a neighboring county from where she lived. So many things could have gone so very differently.
We will be celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary this October. We have a 2-year-old daughter who is healthy and thriving. I have a stable career as a Cyber Security Analyst at growing distributor of HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing supplies based in Oklahoma City. God shaped me to be the person I was when we met, to become the person I am today and to continue to develop into who I am to be tomorrow.
God continues to work in our lives even when we feel He is not. Sometimes, that is part of the process. In my decades long fight with diabetes, my A1C's have dropped from 12.2 to 7.2 in two months. Also, my liver enzymes had been so far out of range, specialists have said i could improve them but they'd never be in range again. Fridays lab test showed one of them two points from being in range and the other was IN RANGE! These enzymes being as high as they were could have lead to cirrhosis of the liver. And I've lost a total of 82 pounds from my highest weight. At the start of this current battle, I have lost 22 pounds. Praise and Glory to God.God is good. - Praise God. I have recorded my first normal blood sugar reading in well over a year. Healthy ranges are 80 - 120 and i just recorded a 109. - Praise God. I have been fighting with my health insurance provider for manjouro. I am a type 2 diabetic and it has been out of control. They fi ally approved it but it cost me over $1000. No way could i afford that. Tried to apply thebprescription savings card and the pharmacy said my insurance doesnt allow it. Went months on end without it. Saw a soecialist last week and now they accept the savings card and i only pay $25 a month. God blessed me in a major way. Myblast A1C's were 12.2. - My daughter will be 17 months in a couple of weeks. This morning, my wife is sick and there was storms forecasted ao we decided to stream the services. Before the storms, i took my daughter outside. I prayed and when I said Amen, my daughter attempted to say it. Her vocabulary is still a few words, but i am thrilled Amen is coming into development for her. Pray for me to gain the wisdom and patience to be the dad she needs and the husband my wife needs. For a short verse, it says so much. It presumes God's existence. He created the heavens and the earth, suggesting a sudden emergence into existence. This sounds a lot like the big bang theory, with one exception, it is real.
I once heard a televangelist say God didn't actually create the earth. He says God took a massive rock and added water, dirt, and plant life to it. I emailed that pastor and challenged him on it. Of course, he refused to even answer my emails. This occurred over twenty years ago and I still think about all the people sitting in his San Antonio church believing his false teachings, not to mention the untold numbers of viewers watching him from. Beware of false teachers. Read your bibles and you will be able to tell a false teacher by the message he preaches.
