Dr Galahad Randall S. Unciano is a seasoned Education and Social Science Research Specialist / Consultant. He manages his own independent service industry, called “The GHIETUARY Research Consultancy in Social Sciences” (GRCSS), that he established in 2017, and operated under his sole proprietorship. It’s research laboratory and consultation hub is duly registered and located in Urdaneta City, Pangasinan, Philippines. In October 2024, the Office of the City Mayor, LGU Urdaneta City issued a letter of commendation recognizing the social productivity and excellence of the services offered by the GRCSS. Dr. Unciano belongs to the first batch in the Philippines to be accredited as Certified Research Specialist (CRS), duly certified by the Visionary Research Association and Training Center. He is the 2024 Filipino awardee for Most Outstanding Educator and Research Specialist conveyed during the 5th Asia Pacific Global Achievers Awards as a tribute to his multi-faceted academic and social achievements across the decades of his University teaching career and his advocacy for “teacher empowerment” as an educator.

Dr. Unciano holds a degree in Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.), major in Language Education. In the university held competition, he was awarded a certificate of recognition with cash incentive for gaining the merit of Best in Doctoral Dissertation (Social Science Category). He also earned course units for another post-graduate degree in Doctor of Communication (DComm). He completed Master of Arts in Education (M.A.Ed.). major in Communication Arts-English, and a degree in AB Philosophy. Dr Unciano passed the Civil Service Career Examination (professional category) as well as the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET). He also possesses an international certification as TESOL Provider (TESOL - Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages).

Dr Unciano’s career as an educator spans almost three decades, which started in 1997. His employment and affiliations cut across private higher education institutions (HEIs) and government-owned / State Universities. Although he assumed to his his full-time work as research consultant in 2017, he intermittently accommodates University teaching loads to handle courses in the Master’s and Doctorate programs. Across his university career, Dr Unciano was likewise well entrusted with several administrative functions on top of his teaching functions. He has also solo-authored and co-authored academic text books as well as research articles that he presented in National and International Research Conferences, He is constantly invited as a resource lecturer / trainer r by different universities and agencies beyond the education sector to lecture on themes, such as Gender and Development (GAD); Organizational Management; Research Capability; and English Language Teaching / Learning.

Dr. Unciano has received multiple awards and recognition in various fields, as a sterling testimony of his expertise and achievements in Research authorship, Instructional materials authorship, Research Coaching, Journalistic Competition Coaching, and Employee Loyalty and Excellence.
