Blue skies smiling at me
Nothing but blue skies do I see
Blue birds singing a song
Nothing but blue birds all day long
Never saw the sun shining so bright
Never saw things going so right
Noticing the days hurrying by
When you’re in love my how they fly
Blue days all of them gone
Nothing but blue skies from now on
There’s an old bird on the top row.
I’ll sing Blue Skies ladysighs cried
How she tried and tried and tried
Great effort she applied
Soon her vocal chords died
But ladysighs still had her pride
Ladysighs tried a happier song
Invited blogging friends to sing along
Each put on a sarong
And sailed away to Hong Kong
