Excellence In Teaching
Staff at Jarman is highly qualified and features National Board Certified Teachers, Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching and Master Teacher Project Honorees.
Social Studies
Students are actively engaged in their Social Studies learning as they participate in hands-on activities, technology infused lessons, and multi-faceted learning experiences that lead to step-by-step discovery. Students don't just learn Social Studies - they experience it.
College & Career Preparation
Our goal is to prepare and ensure 100 percent of our students excel academically and socially, are college and career ready upon graduation, and become responsible citizens. We believe with this vision our students will become empowered to achieve at their highest potential in all curricular areas.

Union administrators have been participating in an all-day retreat today at POSTOAK Lodge & Retreat, 5323 W 31st St N, as they prepare for a new year.

Union Girls Basketball hosted and completed a summer camp for young girls this week, and announced the winners of the 'Hot Shot and Free Throw' winners.

As Union continues to emphasize the importance of regular attendance, our elementary schools are seeing some gains. Average daily attendance increased by 2.64 percent at Union elementary schools in 2025-26 compared with the previous year. Average daily attendance was 93.38 percent.

The Summer Reading Program has started. Head over to Martin Regional Library or any Tulsa City County Library to sign up. The program is for children of all ages, teens, and adults.

For the 34th year in a row, Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) has awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting to Union Public Schools for its annual comprehensive financial report for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2025.

Union Public Schools was one of 24 school districts that was honored June 4 as a “Breakthrough School” by the Oklahoma Public School Resource Center (OPSRC).

Congratulations to Union Girls Tennis Coach Tyler Ashley, who has been named a Most Positive Athlete Oklahoma Coach award winner by Positive Athlete.

Union offers a wide range of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math opportunities. Union was the 1st in Oklahoma, & among only a handful of districts nationwide, to offer STEM to students Pre-K through 12th grade.
