We welcome all sixth grade students and their parents!

We Are Redhawks

“What does it feel like to be principal?” On most Wednesdays at the Union 6th Grade Center, students are offered the opportunity to participate in Lunch Chats to listen to a speaker or play some games in our new Redhawk Room.

Life As A 6th Grader

Your child's day will be divided into seven periods, five of which will be spent with a "team" of teachers. Each team will be designated by a color name and will offer the same curriculum choices. Learn more about being a sixth grader.

Academics

Academics are a priority at Union Public Schools. Union offers programs for students as young as 3 to adults. Union wants everyone to succeed with their goals.

Union Intramurals

Union Intramural Sports provides students opportunities to participate in athletics at a recreational level in several sports.  All Union students are allowed to participate regardless of their skill level. All Intramural activities, practices & games are conducted in Union Athletic facilities.

Community Schools

Union Public Schools is committed to strengthening children, families, and communities. Our Community Schools support student growth and achievement while also creating strong ties among families, students, schools, and communities.

Fine Arts

Union Public Schools has one of the truly outstanding fine arts programs in the nation. A talented and dedicated staff, strong parental and community support, as well as the support of the administration and school board, have provided our students with a wide variety of opportunities to explore and develop their talents.

Union Finance Awarded Certificate of Achievement for Excellence In Financial Reporting By GFOA

For the 34th year in a row, Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) has awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting to Union Public Schools for its annual comprehensive financial report for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2025.

Early Childhood

STEM

Union offers a wide range of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math opportunities. Union was the 1st in Oklahoma, & among only a handful of districts nationwide, to offer STEM to students Pre-K through 12th grade.
