The SFI program is one of the world’s most rigorous and widely applied standards of sustainable forestry. SFI standards encompass over 100 measurable requirements that regulate every aspect of forest management, including growing, harvesting, and replanting.
IFG uses 100% of every tree. Efficiency is a core pillar across all our operations and we are continually researching innovative ways to allocate the entirety of every tree harvested.
September 3, 2024 — In a significant conservation effort, Idaho Forest Group (IFG) has donated a conservation agreement protecting nearly 2,000 acres along an important tributary of the CDA River to Kaniksu Land Trust. This agreement outlines safeguards from development and ensures continued restoration and preservation of the tributary and adjacent land for generations to come.
