HEAT EXCHANGERS

HOMER heat recovery units use modern heat exchangers that provide efficient energy transfer between the exhaust and supply air streams. Two solutions are available:

  • Counterflow – high heat recovery efficiency (up to 90%), durable construction, and easy maintenance.
  • Enthalpy – in addition to energy recovery, it enables moisture transfer, which improves comfort and indoor air quality.

FAN ASSEMBLIES

The fan assemblies are equipped with quiet, high‑efficiency EC motors from the renowned brand ebm-papst, ensuring efficient, energy‑saving operation with a minimal noise level. They enable precise airflow control while guaranteeing reliability.

PRE-HEATER

The built-in 2.6 kW PTC electric heater with modulating control provides effective protection against heat exchanger frosting. The ergonomic design of the unit allows the recuperator to be configured with the heater on either the left or right side, which increases installation flexibility and enables quick servicing.

TEMPERATURE AND HUMIDITY SENSORS

The temperature and humidity sensors in the heat recovery unit precisely monitor the current air conditions, enabling automatic adjustment of fan output and operating modes to ensure optimal air exchange and maintain correct humidity levels. The sensors are characterized by high accuracy, fast response time, and stable measurements across a wide temperature range.

FILTERS

The unit is equipped with high‑quality supply air filters (class F7) and extract air filters (class G4), providing appropriate air filtration. The design of the unit allows for easy, tool‑free filter replacement.

BUILT-IN WI-FI MODEM

The built‑in Wi‑Fi module in the unit provides integration with the local wireless network and allows full initial configuration of the device, including pairing with the app.
This enables monitoring and control of the unit’s operating parameters.

Discover the available
installation options

The unit offers two dedicated installation solutions, enabling optimal integration of the system with the building’s technical infrastructure.

Both installation variants have been designed in line with safety and mechanical strength standards, ensuring stability as well as easy installation and servicing, even where the available installation space is limited.

The unit is designed for wall mounting (standard option) using a dedicated mounting rail supplied with the unit. This solution saves usable floor space and ensures optimal access to the service panel.

The heat recovery unit can also be placed on a dedicated steel support frame (optional accessory). This solution enables safe positioning of the unit in any suitable location without interfering with the building wall, provides full mobility, and allows easy access to the unit for maintenance.

Selection software

An intuitive tool that enables quick selection and configuration of the unit according to the individual needs of the user and installation conditions.

Easy access

The tool is publicly available and does not require logging in or creating an account.

Intuitive online operation and technical support

The software makes it easy to find the optimal solution tailored to the characteristics of a house, apartment, or project, and supports the preparation of technical documentation for designers and installers.

Support in contacting a representative

It enables fast contact with a sales representative to prepare an individual offer.

HOMER Connect is a dedicated mobile application designed for comprehensive operation and monitoring of HOMER heat recovery units.
The solution was created to integrate modern control technologies with the requirements of users and installers, providing maximum control over ventilation processes and heat and moisture recovery.

Heat recovery ventilation is a form of mechanical ventilation with heat recovery that provides a constant supply of fresh air and reduces energy losses by recovering heat from the exhaust air.

Energy savings, improved air quality, thermal comfort, and reduced humidity and dust levels in indoor spaces.

Yes – heat recovery units work well both in new homes and in modernised residential or office buildings. Before purchasing a unit, be sure to consult the design of the new or refurbished building with a designer to confirm whether, and which type of unit can be used.

A heat recovery unit provides continuous air exchange, recovers heat, and protects against energy loss, which is not possible with traditional airing through windows. The unit also additionally filters the air, effectively capturing pollutants.

Although connecting and initially configuring the unit is intuitive and straightforward, to ensure optimal and efficient operation and correct connection, it is recommended to use the services of experienced installers or authorised service technicians.

Installation of a standard system usually takes from 1 to 3 working days, depending on the size of the building and the complexity of the installation.

In most cases, ventilation ducts must be routed in ceilings, walls, or under the floor, so access to these spaces needs to be planned at the design or renovation stage.

In typical single‑family houses, no permit is required; however, for commercial buildings it is advisable to check local regulations.

It is recommended to inspect and maintain the unit at least once a year.

Standard filter replacement is carried out every 90 days, with automatic reminders provided by the app.
• Individual replacement cycle: This period may vary and depends on the level of air pollution (both outdoor and indoor). It is worth checking the condition of the filters regularly, especially if a drop in unit performance is noticed.
• First start‑up (important note): During the first start‑up, the filters often collect all contaminants remaining in the ventilation system after construction or renovation works. This may make it necessary to replace them already after the first few days of unit operation.

Yes – modern heat recovery units recover up to 90% of the heat from the exhaust air, which significantly reduces heating costs.

The unit can be operated both via the HMI controller and the mobile app. Both options allow you to set operating modes, fan speed, and schedules.

The standard warranty is 24 months from the date of purchase.

The warranty covers manufacturing and material defects. Exclusions include mechanical damage caused by improper use or lack of maintenance.

Fill in the service form on our website or contact the Authorized Service Center by phone.

Yes, we provide post‑warranty inspections as well as access to spare parts and accessories.

Noise may result from dirty filters or incorrect installation. Check the filters and ductwork; if in doubt, report the issue to the service department. Most often, however, noise is caused by incorrectly selected or poorly installed ventilation ducts that distribute air throughout the house.

The cause may be dirty filters or ventilation ducts – cleaning them usually solves the problem.

Check the operating mode settings and duct clearances – if problems persist, contact the service department.

Check the power supply, connections, and control panel settings. If the problem continues, report the fault to an authorised service center.
