It installs the core interfaces needed for everyday tasks and advanced maintenance, including media and file transfer (MTP/PTP), USB tethering and modem connectivity, and developer-focused channels such as ADB and diagnostic serial ports. With these drivers in place, Windows can consistently recognize connected devices and work with Huawei tools like HiSuite, as well as third-party software that uses standard Windows device interfaces.
