You can search the HamCall database in the following fields:

Wildcard Callsign: (Use * to replace one or more characters Example: N1BI* matches N1BIA, N1BIC, N1BID, etc.)

Search Tips:

The fields are not case sensitive, 'Robert', 'robert', and 'ROBERT' are equal.
ALL words you enter must appear in the search results. Watch out for abbreviated names and nicknames, or any words that can spelled different ways. If possible search for all common spellings, or don't enter words that can be abbreviated. Examples:
- Name 'Bob Jones' - Try 'Robert Jones', or just 'Jones' and the city and state.
- Last name 'Mc Donald' - Also try 'McDonald' or even 'Mac Donald' or 'MacDonald'.
- Street 'Elm Avenue' - Also try 'Elm Ave' or just 'Elm' in the street field.
- City 'St. Louis' - Also try 'Saint Louis' or just 'Louis' in the city field.
Words with hyphens need to exactly match, like searching for 'Winston-Salem' will give one set of hits and 'Winston Salem' will give another set of hits. Searching for 'Winston' only and 'NC' in state would yield better results.
Everything you enter for must appear exactly as typed in the results, so if you type 'Las Vegas' in the city and 'FL' in the state, you won't get any matches. Try only entering words you are sure will be in all the records you want.
If you get too many results, add more search words, for example a city or state will narrow the results down a lot.
If you get too few results, remove search words that aren't sure will appear in matching records, such as nicknames, initials, or abbreviations. Often just a last name, city, and state are sufficient to find what you're looking for.
Substring searches do work, so 'Cottonwood' and 'ttonwoo' would both return records with 'Cottonwood.'
