Description:
The Multimedia Coordinator reports to the Vice President of Marketing and Events. S/he executes a variety of internal operational and administrative functions to support the Marketing and Events (ME) Team and focuses on developing and distributing strategic content. A background in special operations / military experience is desired.
Primary Responsibilities: The Coordinator’s primary focus is the support of marketing activities and content creation that highlights Global SOF programs and events. Tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Graphic design for both print and digital media
- Development of social media campaigns, content, and scheduling
- Design, development, and execution of email marketing campaigns
- Market research on target markets, both U.S. and international
- Development of overarching marketing campaigns in relation to Global SOF events and programs
- Development of video products
- Editing and sound engineering of podcast episodes
- Website development and editing, especially WordPress
- Design of presentations that effectively communicate Global SOF themes
Requirements:
Desired Experience and Characteristics:
- 1-3 years of experience in a relevant field
- BA, AA, or Certificate in Communications or Media Production
- Background with Special Operations and/or Military Experience
- Ability to manage time and work remotely
- Ability to work with a dynamic and fast-moving team
Software Experience:
- Google Suite, especially Docs, Sheets, and Slides
- Canva
- Adobe Creative Cloud Products, especially Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and InDesign
- WordPress Site Development
- Microsoft Office 365
- SharpSpring or other Marketing Automation tools
- Impexium or other Association Management Systems (AMS)
