Membership Levels

  • Exclusive member-only admission – view member hours for Children’s Museum of Tacoma and Children’s Museum of JBLM.
  • Free member-only Wee Ones Weekly every Monday. Wee Ones Weekly is a member-only play program at the Children’s Museum of Tacoma.
  • Free member parking in the lot adjacent to the Children’s Museum of Tacoma. Parking spaces 1 – 10 available on a first come first serve basis.
  • Special invitations to exclusive member appreciation events.
  • Early registration for Preschool Powered by Play and Greentrike Camps.
  • Discounts on workshops, programs, birthday parties, camps, and museum merchandise.
  • Exclusive discounts, deals, and offerings to local businesses participating in Gnarkles’ Circle of Friends.
  • Playful memberships: 
    • 25% off admission for up to 4 guests at 20 participating Northwest Youth Museums.

Card payment methods will incur a small processing fee of 4.5%. Payments for Pay As You Will admission does not have a processing fee.

New Members

The Little Travelers membership offers a wider range of reciprocal discounts to participating Association of Children’s Museum and North American Reciprocal Museum networks. 

Memberships are valid for one year from the date of purchase.

No, there are spaces on the web form for three children and an extra box to add any additional child names and birthdays.

If you’d like to gift the membership to someone, you can purchase a Playful or Little Travelers membership online here! Recipients will receive an email with instructions to activate the membership in 1-2 business days.

If you prefer a tangible item, you can purchase a membership gift certificate at the front desk of the Children’s Museums of Tacoma and at JBLM.

Current Members

No, the new membership will start the day after your current membership ends.

Discounts

We offer a 10% off discount to active duty and veteran service members. To redeem this code, use the code MilitaryFamily at checkout.

Memberships to the Children’s Museum of Tacoma and the Children’s Museum at JBLM are distributed through our partner child welfare organizations. For more information, email membership@greentrike.org or call 253.533.6876 for help.

We do not have a membership discount for EBT, SNAP or WIC users, but invite families to visit the Museum using Pay As You Will, donation-based admission, during public Museum hours.

Membership purchases are nonrefundable. However, if you are unhappy with your membership for any reason, please contact membership@greentrike.org or call 253.533.6876.
