I suppose outside of this there isn't much use for an IsBoundedSublattice predicate, which would also bundle the bot_mem and top_mem?

Apart from trusting you on the usefulness of the change for your project, this definitely also feels like a useful kind of bundling of arguments in itself, since IsSublattice is its own concept.
