Summary

Runtime fields will now display in tooltips.

Partially addresses #77070

To reproduce, create a runtime field. The easiest way would be just to duplicate a field.

  1. load the sample logs data. This creates the kibana_sample_data_logs index and associated index_pattern
  2. add a runtime field
PUT /kibana_sample_data_logs/_mappings
{
    "runtime" : {
        "foobar" : {
            "type" : "keyword",
            "script" : {
                "source" : "emit(doc['geo.dest'].value)"
            }
        }
    }
}
  1. No need to refresh the kibana_sample_data_logs index pattern! this is automatic now
  2. go to maps-app and add a doc-layer and add field to tooltip.
