I had planned to be more active here but then my dog Maia got sick. She had canine renal disease and nothing we tried could help or make her life better and so we had to let her go. It was a rough and tough time.
Since we know how many homeless dogs are in shelters, we started to look around for another dog and now got exactly the opposite of what we wanted. We just wanted to look and then the SO sat there with that small dog on his lap. He found us, no doubt about it. Mr. Speedy T(error) M(ischief) Gonzales is 9 months old, at the beginning of puberty, is small (possibly a cross between Dachshund and Jack Russel), extremely cute and quite the handful. He keeps us busy. The new dog does not take my grief for Maia away, but gives another good boi a chance at a (hopefully) good life.

When you’re dragged into a magical world and are asked for help, wouldn’t you expect a bit of mysterious wonder and adventure? I sure did. Instead I get this.
