UPDATES (AS OF OCTOBER 2023):
-Had my best camping experience to date at the Valley of Fire State Park in Nevada with church friends
-Went on a family trip to Taiwan and visited Hsinchu city for the first time in my memory
-Started working as a software engineer at AppDynamics
-Went on a family trip to Joshua Tree National Park and Sedona, Arizona
-Started going to in-person church service again at my childhood local church
-Went on a family trip to Mammoth Lakes, CA (after more than a year of no family trips)
-Invested in some exercise bands
-Am a senior software engineer at Apple in Cupertino, CA now
-Started writing songs and taking (free) songwriting and music production courses online
-Upgraded WFH setup: backed Kickstarter project MOFT Z Sit-Stand Desk, got a Kinesis Freestyle2 Blue wireless keyboard for Mac, and a Logitech MX Vertical Ergonomic mouse (latter two bought on Amazon)
-Moved back to my childhood home in LA and began working remotely
-Helped with campus recruiting for the first time at University of Washington, Seattle
-Went on a family trip to Taiwan (second family trip to Taiwan ever)
-Found out about Cimorelli and joined the CimFam
-Got a piano keyboard :D (Yamaha P71)
-Became a fan of tabletop games (e.g. Dixit, 7 Wonders)
-Finally got my driver’s license!
-Started wearing contacts occasionally
-Started working as a software engineer at Apple in Cupertino, CA
-Moved to the Bay Area for the next chapter of my life – aka learning to adult
-Graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Science and Engineering from MIT!!
-Passed the swim test #teamgraduate
-Redesigned my personal website Round 2
-Created SpeeDoodle, a Chrome extension that allows a user to doodle on the New Tab page
-Served as a counselor for the first time for Winter Student Spiritual Convocation held at True Jesus Church in Baldwin Park
-Choreographed for the first time for MIT Asian Dance Team’s Fall 2017 showcase Legends
-Now a senior in college. Time flies!
–Danced in a group of 19 to Symphony by Clean Bandit ft. Zara Larsson as part of Ourogen’s Cycle III summer dance team
-Started working as a software development engineer intern at Expedia in San Francisco
-Attended the 2016 Grace Hopper Conference
-Joined Design for America whoo
-Now an upperclassman in college
-Started working as a software engineer intern at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory
-Halfway done with college..
-Officially declared Computer Science and Engineering as my major
-Redesigned my personal website
-Got an acoustic guitar! Learning some fingerstyle guitar :D
-Done with freshman year of college! Time flies.
–Danced kpop (for the first time) in MIT Asian Dance Team’s Spring 2015 showcase Eclipse
-Got my first DSLR camera!
-Created a Start Anew Every Week blog to document my efforts to be a better person in 2015 and beyond.
