Free eBooks and Audiobook Websites

There are many sources for free eBook and audiobook downloads. Here are just a few:

  • Open Library – Over 1 million free eBooks and more added all the time
  • Baen Books – Over 120 science fiction and fantasy titles available, with new titles added every month.
  • Internet Archive – Films, books, music, and texts in many downloadable formats.
  • Project Gutenberg – a digital library offering free access to thousands of public domain eBooks and audiobooks, including classic literature.
  • ManyBooks – Includes Project Gutenberg titles and beyond.
  • LibriVox – Audiobooks in the public domain
  • The Online Books Page – University of Pennsylvania offers an index of hundreds of thousands of online eBooks.
