Congratulations to Alan Duran! He is being recognized for his artistic achievements.  His Art teacher, Ms. McElroy, stated that he is a "skilled artist, always utilizing many, if not all of the techniques taught in class. " She also shared that Alan is very engaged and excited about assignments.  He utilizes all of his time in class to perfect his artwork.  In addition to being an excellent artist, "Alan also exhibits good citizenship, as he is friendly and always kind to his peers and others."  When Alan was asked what he thought about Art, he replied "I think it's fun. I can be creative."

All CFISD Elementary students are required to have 2 ID badges.  1 badge is worn at all times while they are on campus.  The other badge is attached to their backpack and is used to scan on and off the bus and for breakfast.  

If your student loses a badge/ badges items, they are required to purchase/replace lost items:

ID card: $3   Badge sleeve: $1  Badge lanyard: $1

A new Texas law (House Bill 1481) requires school districts to prohibit student use of all personal communication devices during the school day. Therefore, Cypress-Fairbanks ISD is updating its cell phone policy.
