FIERCE Dialogues is the official podcast series of the FIERCE project – an innovative platform designed to reach diverse audiences and share feminist knowledge in an accessible, engaging way. Through interviews with voices from eight European countries, each episode offers rich, nuanced conversations that connect past experiences with present realities and future feminist strategies. Themes range from feminist movements and gender equality to women’s and LGBTQ+ rights, addressing both country-specific challenges and solutions, as well as broader EU-level issues.
Hosted by FIERCE partners, the episodes feature members of civil society organisations, feminist activists, gender experts, researchers, and academics. Recorded in English or in the partner’s national language, the podcasts bring authentic, context-specific perspectives while fostering cross-border knowledge exchange.

This Greek speaking episode explores “The feminist politics of the body as pivotal to the struggle for social justice in our times”.
Alexandros Kioupkiolis from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, member of the FIERCE team in Greece interview Nina Seferiadou, feminist and anti-racist activist, and member of the feminist collective Meduses and the Anti-racist Initiative in Larisa, central Greece.

Elin Peterson and Inés Campillo, researchers at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and members of the Spanish FIERCE Team, interview Tatiana Romero, who is a feminist activist in the Migration and Anti-racism Commission of the 8M Commission of Madrid, about the anti-racist perspectives on feminist activism in Spain.
During the interview, Tatiana Romero highlights:
- The complexities of mainstreaming anti-racism in mostly white feminist spaces
- The biases of a white feminism that is too much concern on extending formal rights to regular citizens
- The sidelining migrant women in an irregular situation
- The different understandings of intersectionality, and

Gabrielle Jourde from the FIERCE project meets with Laure Salmona, co-founder of the French feminist organization Féministes contre le cyberharcèlement, and co-author with Ketsia Mutombo of the 2023 book Politiser les cyberviolences: une lecture intersectionnelle des inégalités de genre sur internet.
Laure Salmona also led the #TwitterAgainstWomen campaign, raising awareness about cyberbullying and the lack of moderation on social networks.
Together, they delve into the complex connections between cyberviolence, gender inequality, systemic racism, and democracy. The insightful discussion highlights:
- The disproportionate impact of cyberviolence on racialized and gendered minorities, and how anti-feminist actors suppress their online presence

In this episode, Anastasia Barone and Giada Bonu Rosenkranz, postdoctoral researchers of the Scuola Normale Superiore and members of the Italian Fierce Team, dialogue with Aurora Perego, who is a member of the sister project Ccindle – Co-creating Inclusive Intersectional Democratic Spaces Across Europe.
During the conversation, Anastasia, Giada and Aurora discuss the current wave of feminist mobilization in Italy, its innovative character and the challenges it faces. This episode’s topic is about “Reproductive Rights and Interactions with the Political System”. In this interesting intreview Grzegorz Piotrowski from the University of Gdańsk and researcher of the FIERCE project talks to Prof. Elżbieta Korolczuk from the University of Södertörn and the University of Warsaw. Prof. Korolczuk, known for her research on Poland and co-author of the book Anti-Gender Politics in the Populist Moment, shares her insights about: Recent political developments in Poland, the impact on the feminist movement, lessons activists from other countries can learn from the Polish case.
* Prof. Korolczuk, in addition to her work at the University, also works in the Co-Creating Inclusive Intersectional Democratic Spaces Across Europe project, or CCINDLE studying the Swedish case (Poland is studied by Dr. Marta Rawluszko with her team).

Andreas Beyer Gregersen, researcher from the FIERCE project, sits down for an interesting interview with Gertrud Magnusson, a volunteer at the Danish NGO Tegnbuen, a unique organization representing LGBTQ+ individuals with hearing disabilities and/or those who use sign language. Gertrud highlights, what unites members of Tegnbuen is their sexuality and shared use of sign language. Also, among many other things discussed, we learn about the fascinating origin of Tegnbuen: a clever blend of Danish terms for ‘sign language’ and ‘rainbow’!
