Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann (CCÉ)
Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann – meaning Society of the Musicians of Ireland – is the main organisation dedicated to the preservation and promotion of Irish traditional music, song and dance. The Oriel Centre
Based in Dundalk Gaol, the Oriel Centre is one of eight regional resource centres under the auspices of Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann servicing the five north eastern counties of Cavan, Monaghan, Louth, Meath and Armagh. The centre is a resource centre, a visitor attraction, a social and a performance space and provides facilities for teaching, archives, recording, rehearsal, performance and session playing. orielcentre.ie
Féile na Tána

The word “NYAH ” refers to the very expression of the tradition … to its lift or “soul”. This is a festival of all things Cavan. The Maid of the Mill Tradfest.
The Maid of the Mill Tradfest is an initiative of Comhaltas Ard Mhacha County Board. The festival has been running annually since 2018 in Keady, Co. Armagh on the weekend after Easter. Maid of the Mill Tradfest.
Féile Oriel
This local festival pays homage to the Irish fiddling tradition with headline concerts, a fantastic session trail (across Monaghan town and neighbouring villages), the Elders of Fiddling awards, plus the Fiddler of Oriel competition – it all happens on the May bank holiday weekend. Féile Oriel.
