Last year, twitter stopped doing a counter on their tweet buttons. I didn't find the almost instant pop up businesses that got around that until just now, so have basically lost whatever twitter shares I might have had.
However, at least it'll count them now with the little js I got. It does, for some weird reason, slow down the loading of all the social media buttons. I gave it a test run, and it does count. It just takes a few minutes for it to show up, heh.
It works, but it's slow. I may end up changing which one I use. For now, we'll see.
Because I only just now got it up, it's running about 35 shares behind FB. When (if it ever) gets into the thousands, that won't mean anything, but it's noticeable down in the double digits.
