Fond du Lac Area Writers

This website now has seventeen different pages, all of which can be accessed through the tabs above.

Three of our pages exist to give everyone a chance to get their writings out in front of the public.  They are our “Poems,” “Posts” and “Writings” pages.  Posting your work on them is one way to preview your work before a meeting, to give our members a chance to think about them before commenting on them.  Your comments are welcome and actively encouraged.  The pages are as follows, listed in alphabetical order by name:

1. Our “About” page tells about our club.  Who we are, what we do, etc.  This is the best page to comment about our club.
2. Our “Board of Directors” page has the minutes for our last Board meeting.  This is the best page to comment about our Board.
3. Our “By-Laws” page shows our club’s laws.  This is the best page to comment about our rules, and to suggest any changes that you would like, for our Board of Directors to consider.
4. Our “Guest Speaker Guidelines” page is to let prospective speakers know the kinds of things that would be most successful with our club.
5. Our “History” page tells about our club’s origins and its past.  Any comments to add to our history are welcome.
6. Our “Meetings” page tells about our upcoming meetings and events.  This is the best page to comment about our meetings.
7. Our “Officers” page lists our club’s officers.
8. Our “Past and Future Meetings” page tell some of the speakers and topics we have had.  This is the best page to reminisce and comment about our previous meetings.
9. Our “Poems” page is to post your poetry.  This is the best page to comment about poetry.
10. Our “Posts” page is to post any comments that don’t seem to belong on any other page.
11. This “Site Map” page is our Table of Contents page for this website.  This is the best page to comment about our choices of content.
12. Our “Story Fair” page is all about our brand-new event, coming on October 7, 2023.
13. Our Title Page is our “Home” Page.  This is our introduction to our site.  This is the best page to comment about our website.
14. Our “Writer’s Spotlight” page highlights some of our members with a Question and Answer interview as a way of getting to know about each other.  This is the best page to comment about our spotlighted members.
15. Our “Writing Clubs” page shows the four clubs in the Fond du Lac area, and the two state-wide groups, devoted to writing.  This is the best page to comment on writing clubs and organizations.
16. Our “Writing Prompts” page gives some suggested writing exercises that may spark an idea for a story or pom.
17. Our “Writings” page is to post any other kinds of writings.  This is the best page to comment about our writings.
