Jefferson County Impact
Scholarship Application

The Jefferson County Impact Scholarship is a scholarship for students who are awarded a Pell Grant as determined by the Free Application of Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and who both live in and attend a private, parochial, or accredited home school in Jefferson County (Ky). As a last dollar scholarship, awards will cover the cost of tuition each semester after all federal and state aid have been applied. The scholarship may be used to earn an associate degree, workforce credential or up to 60 undergraduate credit hours at any Kentucky Community and Technical College including Jefferson Community and Technical College, or Simmons College of Kentucky.

The application is now open for Class of 2026 graduates. To apply, please complete the application below by July 15, 2026.

Jefferson County Impact Scholarship terms and conditions

  • By completing and submitting this application, I confirm that I am aware and fully understand all scholarship requirements listed below and should I be awarded a scholarship, I agree to all terms required to receive and maintain an Impact scholarship.
  • I understand that I must enroll at a KCTCS institution or Simmons College of Kentucky the fall semester immediately following high school graduation.
  • I understand that I must maintain enrollment at a KCTCS institution or Simmons College of Kentucky during the fall and spring semesters to receive and maintain the Impact scholarship.
  • I understand that I must be enrolled in and successfully complete at least nine credit hours each fall and spring semester to receive and maintain eligibility for the Impact scholarship.
  • I understand that I can only use Impact Scholarship funds to cover 6 hours of developmental or ESL coursework.
  • I understand that if I do not maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) each semester it will result in academic probation or forfeit of my scholarship.
  • I understand that I can complete an appeal if I don’t successfully complete nine credit hours or meet Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP).
  • I understand that I must file a FAFSA each year and remain Pell-eligible to maintain eligibility for the Impact scholarship. I also understand that I must complete all steps required by my school’s Financial Aid office to determine financial aid eligibility.
  • I understand that I am required to meet with an Evolve502 Student Support Coach monthly.
  • I understand that by accepting the Impact scholarship status that my data may be released from my college to the Evolve502 Organization for the purposes of determining future eligibility. My college will provide a data release authorization form for my review/completion.
  • I understand that if I do not meet the terms above I will not be eligible to receive the scholarship.
