The Essential Parent partnership with GMCA began in 2020, and provides an Essential Parent GM-wide app, which covers maternity, immunisations, 0-19 and women’s health.

The Essential Parent app for C&M covers all 7 regions of the ICB. Each region has its own local library, with signposts to local services. Content from ICB providers is coordinated in the app.

Salford is the first borough in Greater Manchester to use the GM/ Essential Parent app.

The Portland Hospital

The Portland Hospital for Women and Children is a world-renowned private hospital for maternity, women and children, and is owned and run by HCA International Ltd.

For The Portland Hospital, Essential Parent has provided a fully branded app, loaded with Portland specific content. It delivers content bundles along timelines set by a baby’s due date or birth date, going up to the age of 19 years.

Women’s health and fertility is covered as well as content for parents of infants and children.
