Dr Rebecca Chicot & Diana Hill FOUNDERS
Essential Parent was founded in 2011 by
Dr Rebecca Chicot, a Cambridge PhD in Child development and parenting, and Diana Hill, an award winning BBC science documentary filmmaker.
They saw a need for evidence based, expertly presented digital content covering fertility, maternity, 0-19 years and women’s health.
They head up sales, strategy and client management.
Kyle Yeldon NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Kyle Yeldon brings over 13 years of senior leadership experience from NHS England. During his time in national roles including Head of Delivery and Head of Primary Care Services.
At Essential Parent, he supports the organisation’s growth and strategic partnerships, helping strengthen the connection between digital innovation, prevention and family health support.
Aileen KeigherHEAD OF CONTENT UPDATING
Aileen leads the team which keeps EP’s extensive content up-to-date.
A qualified nurse, school nurse & midwife with 25 years of experience in the NHS.
Key areas of expertise:
- Community midwifery & maternity care
- School nursing & public health
- Child & adolescent development (0-18 years)
- Family-centred care & health promotion
- Preconception & early years support
Tim Ludlow HEAD OF PRODUCT
Tim has over 20 years experience delivering digital products and experiences for some of the world’s most recognisable brands.
Bridging the gap between ideas and delivery he is a former Production Director at Google Creative Labs, a startup co-founder, and has helped run digital agencies in Sydney and London.
Tim heads up our tech development team.
