If you play the lottery do you ever wonder what would be worse--not getting any numbers or getting 4 or 5. Well, I'm here to tell you getting all the numbers but 1 is the worst.

My father-in-law picks his own numbers. He got all the numbers except for the last one. He picked 42 and the number came up 48. They missed out on millions of dollars. Sure, they got like $800 but it is driving them nuts! And it is driving us nuts because they would have paid off our house. Our house would be paid off. I can't stop thinking about it.

*sigh*

Anyway, I've been on this Remus/Tonks kick for the last few days from reading all the Tumblr entries about them and Teddy and I am so...sad. :( JKR screwed us! She totally did. They did not have to die. Not both of them. It was simply a plot point and it sucked. Yes, it's her books, her world, blah blah blah but I'm so mad at her right now. I actually cried a little about it today, which is years late, I know. I didn't even cry when I read it (I was prepared).

If I could change anything about the books, it would only be 2 things:

Remus and Tonks dying

and

Harry ending up with Ginny.

that's all.

Also, people have been asking for OotP Remus/Tonks fic recs and the only I still hold dear are the ones by moonlitwoods but they are gone. :(

As a side note, I actually had to google what her old username used to be. I swear my mind is going. To where? I don't know but nowhere good. :p

I haven't written here in FOREVER. I don't know why I 'm so lazy. Maybe I need vitamins.

I have being reading all the posts on my friends page but have been too lazy to comment. I will do that now.

Lady Madonna or Eight Days a Week. I'm not sure why--because I just like them I guess. Also, maybe because they are a little different from the rest.

I don't know that I have a regular one. I do know that I sang "Hold On" by Wilson Phillips in the shower today and a couple days ago it was "I Can't Hold Back" by Survivor. I changes all the time.

I've been a smoker since I was 16 yrs old. And it sucks. I hate it. The things I hate the most is the taste, the smell, the harmful chemicals, and the fact that I can't quit. The only time I was able to quit was when I was pregnant with Jake and that was only because the smell made me puke. But then again, pretty much everything made me puke when I was pregnant. Worst. Pregnancy. Ever. But that's another story.

What I like about it is the actual act of smoking. The calming sensation of inhaling and exhaling.

So, recently I discovered e-cigarettes. Or 'vaping'. Basically, you get the nicotine and the actions of smoking but no tobacco or any of the harmful toxins including second-hand smoke. You inhale nicotine plus whatever flavor you chose (and there are many!) and exhale water vapor. Nicotine by itself is as harmless/harmful as caffeine. By themselves they are simply stimulants.

Mike and I are both doing it and he started with the Volcano. A small unit that is the same size as an actual ciggarette. Mike didn't like it. He couldn't get the inhaling right. You inhale differently than with a normal cig. I did some research and decided on a Joye 510--a bigger unit with a manual button. I got 2--one in pink, one in red (pretty!). Mike took one drag and decided that was it for him. Gone was the Volcano and he took my red one to use...lol.

And like everything else in my life, I completely immersed myself in the whole 'vaping' experience. Mike sticks with the tobacco flavors while I, at the moment, am switching between Carmello and Swedish Fish flavors. I'm on my 4th day of absolutely NO analog cigs and it is going very well. I have no craving for analogs at all.

Did I also mention the price? We used to spend around $400/month on cigs. Now, it will cost us around $20-30. Yeah. Awesome.



I also have a red one with a purple led. :)

I didn't mean to sound like a commercial or anything. I am just really excited about this.

Also...in the last month--me, Mike, my sis-in-law, her bro-in-law, her mom-in-law, my dad, my bro-in law, my boss, her husand, my ex-boss and her husband..oh and my sister's ex-mom-in-law have all switched over to vaping just from me talking about it. Mike says I should get commission. LOL...I should! Pretty soon no one I know will smoke actual cigs.

So, that's what I've been up to. :)

*sigh* Sad, but true.

I don't think I've ever laughed so hard.

Mike and I were lying in bed and he said:

Mike: I have to make a confession.

Heather: Okay.

Mike: I think I did something really bad this morning while you were sleeping.

Heather: What?

Mike: I put your thing in my thing.

Heather: *laughs* What?

He is really embarassed at this point. Hiding his face.

Heather: What did you do? What things?

Mike: Well, no. It was more like I put your thing and my thing together.

At this point, I am dying laughing. He is not one to mince words. He doesn't say "your thing" and "my thing" like a 4 year old.

Heather: What are you talking about?

Mike: It was like this. *sticks his finger in his fist and moves it all about" For like 40 seconds. *pause* And it was wet.

We are both crying now we are laughing so hard.

Heather: There is no way I would not feel that. I'm a very light sleeper.
