First deployed in Italy, it delivers start-over functionality, deterministic server-side ad insertion and significant gains in viewer engagement and ad value. The HbbTV Association has released Test Suite 2025-3, the third and final release of the year. Containing 3,421 test cases, over 90% approved, it marks the highest approval rate yet. The update includes major improvements to HbbTV Operator Application (OpApp) tests and 124 additional approved cases enhancing quality and interoperability.
