Watching everyone (ok almost everyone) on LJ wibble about Torchwood makes me sad! I can't watch it yet! The computers are acting wonky and will not cooperate at the moment. The laptop is pretty much kaput. It was old (and free) anyhow. The main comp isn't dead but it is suffering from D's inability to let go of things. Even if it's backed up on a external hd, he still has trouble letting of things. I went in and cleaned up a few things like doubles and triples of pics. O_o. Yeah, that's not too smart.
Yesterday we finally set up the boy's twin bed and took apart his crib. And yesterday he slept in it without crawling into our bed! He did wake up at 4:30 in the morning asking about something or the other and then went back to sleep. But I was awake for an hour and then slept for another hour. So I'm a wee bit tired. But yay to the boy sleeping in his twin bed!
I'm knitting another baby sweater, Elizabeth Zimmerman's baby surprise jacket, it's for my second cousin's boy-to-be. The shower is on the 27th. I'm almost done. I think I might have enough time to maybe try to do up a hat. The first sweater I did was in 2 colors, silver grey trimmed with medium blue. This one is 4 colors: light grey, cadet blue, yellow-green and navy blue. I'm not sure I want to do this many colors ever again in a sweater. It sure does look really good though. But all the weaving in of ends is making me tired. Maybe next time I'm going to try and knot the ends in together. I've done that a few times and they turned out pretty good.
I'm getting pretty excited about watching Harry Potter. I can't decide if I should watch it Wednesday morning first thing or should I do Thursday instead? According to Yahoo it's only in 2 theaters in SF. Decisions, decisions. I think last time I watched it 2 weeks after it came out and D complained about how it got shunted to a smaller screen. I should probably make up my mind soon.
