Welcome to DeepDocs. These Terms and Conditions of Use (“Terms”) constitute a legal agreement between you and GradeHive Technologies Private Limited, an Indian private company, and its affiliates (“DeepDocs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By installing, accessing, or using DeepDocs through GitHub or any other means (“the Service”), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.
If these Terms conflict with a separate written agreement you or your organization has with us, that agreement will take precedence.
1. Use of the Service
- You may use DeepDocs only if you can form a binding contract and are in compliance with all applicable laws.
- You are responsible for your GitHub account’s security and permissions when installing DeepDocs.
- You agree not to:
- Use DeepDocs to host or transmit malicious content or unauthorized data.
- Reverse engineer, copy, or misuse the Service in a way that harms others or disrupts its operation.
- Use DeepDocs to violate any third-party intellectual property or applicable data protection laws.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service if we believe these Terms have been violated.
2. License and Usage
- License: You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the Service while your GitHub App installation remains active.
- Billing: If you are on a paid plan:
- Billing is monthly or annually based on your subscription tier.
- If your usage (e.g., number of repositories, documentation updates, or tokens) exceeds your tier, we may automatically upgrade your plan or apply additional charges.
- Fair Use: Abuse of the Service, such as overloading with excessive update requests, may result in throttling or suspension.
3. Support and Maintenance
- Support is available to authorized users through our email or issue tracker channels.
- We may provide bug fixes, updates, or enhancements from time to time.
- Downtime for maintenance will be communicated in advance when possible.
4. Intellectual Property and Content Rights
- All intellectual property related to DeepDocs—including its algorithms, architecture, and updates—is owned by GradeHive Technologies Private Limited.
- Documentation generated or modified via DeepDocs remains your content. We claim no ownership over it.
- You are responsible for ensuring that any documentation or code DeepDocs processes is lawful and does not violate any third-party rights.
5. Data Privacy and Security
- DeepDocs does not permanently store your repository code or documentation. All processing is done securely and ephemerally during runtime unless explicitly required for caching or billing purposes.
- We adhere to GitHub’s data access policies and request only the minimum permissions required.

6. Termination and Uninstallation
- You may uninstall DeepDocs from your GitHub account at any time.
- Upon termination, all ephemeral data will be purged, and any stored analytics or billing data will be handled per our privacy policy.
- We do not offer refunds unless explicitly agreed upon in writing.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, DeepDocs is not liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including loss of data, profits, or access).
- Issues arising from misconfigured repositories, inaccurate documentation, or misuse of the Service.
- Aggregate liability is limited to the amount you have paid in the past 12 months (if applicable).
8. Modifications and Legal Terms
- We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email or GitHub notifications.
- Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
- These Terms are governed by the laws of India, with jurisdiction in Kolkata, West Bengal.
