No matter the bad choices you’ve made or the areas of your life in which you’re struggling, it doesn’t matter here, at Crosspoint. We strive to offer a non-judgmental, safe place for all to take their next steps with Christ.
Our History
Over time, the town of Jonesborough has served as a geographical crossing point for people traveling from East to West and North to South. And today, people find themselves on a different kind of journey here in Jonesborough–a spiritual one.
In 2009, Crosspoint Church began taking shape when a team of people bonded over their desire to reach people who did not attend church. This out-of-the-box thinking formed our unique, community-focused ministry and continues to impact our mission as we’ve grown.
From the start, our primary focus has always been to saturate Jonesborough with the gospel, to help those who, for whatever reason, feel disconnected from the church, and to reach those who have yet to investigate the claims of Christ.
Over the years, we’ve formed regional, national and international partnerships for the purpose of starting churches and spreading the influence of the gospel. As a Bible-driven church, we are always working on different ways to serve those who are broken and hurting with a message that God loves them, forgives them, and can transform their life.
We Keep It Simple
The gospel itself is simple, not complicated. And we believe that the church and the pursuit of God should be simple, too.
The natural tendency of any church is to begin developing programs that occupy the time and energy of members, but our primary strategy is to resist the urge to complicate things for seekers and followers of Jesus. That’s why you’ll notice we don’t have a lot of programs and activities at Crosspoint. This is all in our push to keep things simple, connected, and focused.
