Cancellation Policy – Codener

Cancellation Policy

At Codener, we value professionalism, transparency, and efficiency. Our team dedicates significant time, effort, and resources to every project we undertake. To ensure clarity and fairness for both parties, we have outlined our cancellation policy as follows:

1. Client-Initiated Cancellations

  • Clients may request to cancel any service or project by providing written notice to hello@codener.com.
  • Upon cancellation, no refunds will be issued, regardless of project stage or payment status.
  • This policy applies to all payments made, including but not limited to:
    • Upfront deposits
    • Milestone payments
    • Full project payments
    • Monthly or annual service subscriptions
  • Any work completed up to the date of cancellation will remain the sole property of Codener until the full and final payment is received.

If a project is paused or canceled due to lack of communication from the client for 14 consecutive business days, Codener reserves the right to terminate the project, with no refunds issued.

2. Codener-Initiated Cancellations

  • Codener reserves the right to cancel any project or service under the following circumstances:
    • Non-compliance with our terms of service
    • Repeated failure to provide required inputs or feedback
    • Abusive or unprofessional conduct toward our team
    • Requests that violate applicable laws, ethical standards, or platform guidelines

In such cases, no refunds will be issued, and Codener is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss resulting from the cancellation.

3. Ongoing Services (Maintenance, Hosting, Retainers, Subscriptions)

  • For ongoing or subscription-based services, a 15-day advance written notice is required for cancellation before the next billing cycle.
  • Cancellations requested after the start of a billing cycle will be processed for the next cycle. No partial or pro-rated refunds will be issued.
  • Failure to pay on time may result in automatic suspension or termination of services without further notice.

4. Ownership and Deliverables on Cancellation

  • In the event of a cancellation, all source files, designs, and code created by Codener remain the intellectual property of Codener unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing.
  • Transfer of any completed work or assets will be done only after full and final settlement of all outstanding invoices.

5. Dispute Resolution

  • If a client disputes a charge or files a chargeback without attempting to resolve the issue with Codener directly, we reserve the right to pursue legal action and suspend all current and future services.
  • Clients are encouraged to reach out to our support team to resolve any issues amicably before considering cancellation or chargebacks.

For any questions or concerns related to this policy, please contact us at hello@codener.com.
