I love this garland. This is evident of the fact that I said the same thing five years ago x) 15 recolours, this time in curiousb‘s colours.

Also, it should be said that these are named after the candy/lollies Nerds, not the insult/stereotype/whatever. I had a box of them and spilled them all over the floor and my desk…*sad face*

Oh bullbonk.

Soooooo after all that time learning to mesh and creating new meshes and learning to convert from game to game and being so proud of myself...I had to learn to mesh again. It's been a few years, and lots has happened so I can be forgiven for forgetting, right??? Well that bit me in the bum today...as I ranted on tumblr, I need a break >.< How can files just disappear? Issues like this are what make me think of that line in the video game Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time: "You win again, technology!"

Besides that, I am more active on tumblr. In case anyone didn't know that. When I'm doing proper legacy/challenge updates and I have created something that hasn't just disappeared into thin air, then this space will be less dusty!

Goodbye my friends ♥

This is it. I am officially saying goodbye as an active member of the sims community. You’ve probably noticed, that I haven’t updated and my posts haven’t been as often as they used to be, say, back in 2012.

My life has changed, in a big, nasty way and it is time to move on. I have to move houses, yet again, and as time goes on, I realise I’m not as interested anymore.

I want to say thank you to everyone who helped, supported and became friends with me. It was a wonderful community, but it is now time to say goodbye. I have another two tumblrs, nilinspeace (games -not sims-) and laneabean. I will post to laneabean, just not very often and it will only be for pictures that I really like. It will not serve as a replacement for my main tumblr.

Please note! I am NOT deleting any of my content. I am NOT deleting my main tumblr or my journal. Everything will remain and yes, you can still contact me should you need anything. But do not expect any updates anymore.

This is goodbye, my friends. My cousin is leaving too, but I can assure you all, we still play! It’s just not as fun sharing anymore. Thanks again friends, and please, be good to each other. Bye bye ××

[update] Brushing Off the Dust...

Hey hi hello! Does anyone even use LJ anymore? I remember a time where I swore I'd never stop using it, and while I haven't stopped logging in, I haven't been posting because...well, I'm not very active anymore. But you know, I wanna change that! But here's a short update on things and why I'm sporadically posting to tumblr:

→ It's 100% a must I continue searching for work.
→ My enthusiasm isn't what it was. Tumblr's filled with Sims 4 content, and Sims 2 seems to be a little on the backburner.
→ I created a bunch of stuff, promptly forgot about it; one of the items is now bugged. It's a killer on the mood.
→ I'm obsessed with TERA! It's so much fun for me to play; come join me if you like! (do let me know if you do play, it'd be cool to chat!)

And...yep. That's pretty much life at the moment. I've got other priorities, other interests....but sims is just one of those things I can't give up. So I assure you, something sims related will be up...eventually! Till then ×

[update] Looking Good!

So things are going pretty well, I've moved in, I'm settled, my laptop is in my delicate hands, and within a week, I've set up sims! Well...apart from custom content. I'm currently going through defaults and have yet to add in cc. But graphically, everything's working like a charm! I'm hoping I get to start creating soon too, as that would be nice. Get back into what I used to do.

For a while, everyone has been more active over at tumblr, and if anyone's reading this and didn't know, mine's here. I'll still be posting to LJ, for sure! It's much easier to post legacy updates here than on tumblr. At least for me, anyway! Hopefully I can be a more active part of the community again, and show the BF how much sims has changed since he last played!
I might even update my layout again, it needs a change.

[real life] Mini Hiatus!

I'm totally aware, I suck at staying active. With a new laptop coming within a few weeks, I should be back to normal (here's hoping) and updating and whatnot.
However, I'm moving...again! 16th is the big day, so I'm going on a mini hiatus until we're all settled and I've got my laptop, etc.

After that, remind me to be active again, yeah? I need someone to kick my arse into gear :p
